try recreating the same patch from empty? (if you're interested in pursuing) it just seems like there's something being missed. if there is an expression pedal involved, leave that off and try it... you can add it later if everything else is all clear.
-
when you change it to pre's you use it more like an analog amp... rather than a modeling amp... and i think what you're hearing is normal. if you switch patches mid song or something try rebuilding the different amps on the same topology... may require some adjustments of course... all a tradeoff... you can of course stick with full models too.
-
perhaps you switched from full models to pre's etc... you really shouldn't switch topologies mid song anyway... so it shouldn't be an unmanageable issue.

have you used slimdrivers? its a free utility that updates drivers.... it can sometimes find usb/chipset/motherboard drivers that fix things up... worth a try.

The New "Amplifi TT" : USB to computer Recording functionality?
TheRealZap replied to ColonelForbin's topic in AMPLIFi
not marketing or anything clever.... just the TT had the attention of the development staff and the feature got implemented before release. i SUSPECT that the feature will come to the entire Amplifi line.... given time. if you have a current amplifi that you're happy with.... i don't think that switching to a TT for this feature would be wise.... however if the TT format looks more to your liking.... go for it. -
The New "Amplifi TT" : USB to computer Recording functionality?
TheRealZap replied to ColonelForbin's topic in AMPLIFi
usb recording works like any other interface... will playback your DAW tracks through the TT while recording. -
Yeah, pretty much worked like any other interface. you can't record the bluetooth stream or anything like that though.

I have a TT. 1. most likely any android 3.4+ with bluetooth will be capable... they can't declare that 100% because it's impossible to test 100% of what's out there... but chances are real good! 2. there has been no mention of any computer apps other than wishful thinking here on the forums... if this is a deciding factor, then i would hold off, since it MAY never happen (although it could possibly...) 3. recording works just fine on the TT... it's class compliant with a mac (no driver needed) i tested with logic and garageband, there is a windows driver too that you can setup in your software (i tested with reaper, and mixcraft)

maybe you have some security software or firewall preventing connection... line6 software also doesn't like satellite internet if that's the case. you don't say what hardware you have either, and probably won't make a difference to your connection.... but download the driver package as well.

Error 534 - Serial could not be validated
TheRealZap replied to nikolaibeck's topic in POD 2.0, POD XT, Pocket POD, FloorPODs
you really only need to register it if you're sending it in for service. and they only accept things in warranty... no reason you shouldn't be able to register... but absolutely no benefit to you to do so other than being able to retrieve the serial number information if your device gets stolen. if you want to make the effort, go here: http://line6.com/company/contact/ and open a support ticket or call. -
Amplifi TT For My Studio Guitar Processor - Thoughts?
TheRealZap replied to karmicfreak's topic in AMPLIFi
much depends on which use is more important to you... i have the TT and the hd pro x, and if i had to choose one i'd choose the pro... but for simple practice, and learning from the tone matching the TT may fit those needs better. -
it will only use it's own amplifi software for tone matching... although you can play along with whatever you want... for tone matching through the amplifi app you need to have the file downloaded on your device, so something like spotify is not practical.

it won't show tracks in the cloud... are the songs downloaded to your device? if not download the tracks and you will see them.
-
peculiar, have you tried NOT using a volume pedal and assigning the expression pedal to control the channel volume? that's the way alot of us use it, because it saves an effects block and DSP. just an idea... but that issue isn't what i thought you were implying when i responded. have not ran into this one.

that isn't going to happen without a great deal of effort on your part.... that's just not how it works... YOU have to make it fit YOUR needs it's not a one size fits all device. the pedal needs setup independently for each and every tone.

I have problem with my tones...
TheRealZap replied to Jamesparisidis1's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
you don't have any photos attached..... and the free version is very limited... you don't really say what your problem is... but it sounds like you want the "more than free" version.... -
JTV 69 Pick Guard
TheRealZap replied to sinistralx's topic in James Tyler Variax Guitars / Workbench HD
I'd go further and claim that i like the pickguard too... perhaps for exactly the reason you don't like it.... i like that it has more of an offset (jaguar, jazzmaster, et al) look than a strat look. at least the HSS version the SSS version totally looks like an afterthought, and it doesn't work for me. i also like the headstock... just be thankful it wasn't more like James Tylers own guitars.... now there's some ugly for you. -
you have to use gearbox.
-
the power pack for a pod xt should be the px2... if its 9V AC should be the one.
-
that's only half the question..... the other half is, how many are they working on, and how many will be in the next product....

did you mean to provide said instructions?
