It is 100% the Bluetooth headphones. The music is being streamed over Bluetooth and you don't notice the latency because you have nothing else to compare it to. You notice the latency from the Bluetooth because you're comparing it to your real-time playing on the bass.

Sonic Port VX - Windows 10 can t find
phil_m replied to Uwe_Hank's topic in Sonic Port devices / Mobile In
There's no reason to run License Manager for the Sonic Port VX. Once you install the drivers, it should just show up as an ASIO device in Windows. Does it show up in the Device Manager? -
The expression pedal is acting not only a controller for the position parameter of the Volume block but also a bypass controller. To change that, you just need to be in Signal Flow view (which you are in in your photo). Navigate over to the Volume block and touch FS2. Use Knob 3 to select the bypass for the Volume block. If you want it on all the time, just select "None". One other thing I should add is that if you're just wanting to control the volume of the loop being played back, a better way to do that would be to assign the Playback parameter of the looper to be controlled by the expression pedal. Navigate to the Looper block (which you already are in in you're photo), touch FS3 to activate the parameters in that scribble strip, and then hold down Knob 1 (for the Playback parameter). That will take you to the Controller Assign screen. There you can select EXP1 to control the playback volume of the looper block.

Speaking of Fractal and drives, from what I’ve read, there seems to be near universal agreement, even among Fractal fans, that the drives and fuzzes in the Helix are better than Fractal’s comparable offerings...
-
I think the possible shear stress of the up/down movement of that is going to be worse in the long run than pulling the cord in and out of the Helix. Plus, there's always the possibility of the backpack taking a direct hit in that area. Personally, I wouldn't risk it, but that's just me.
-
I wouldn't want to leave that plugged in the Helix while it was in the backpack. But other than that, it should be fine.

I guess the one thing I should clarify is that the min and max values for each parameter are per preset, no per snapshot. But you can still have a unique value for each parameter that's assigned to a controlled recalled on a per snapshot basis.
-
You can do that. You can assign whatever parameters you want to change to be controlled by a footswitch, and the footswitch will toggle between your chosen min and max values for each parameter. The nice thing is that you can still recall specific value for all those parameters on a per snapshot basis as well.
-
Not sure I understand what you mean... You can control up to 64 parameters per snapshot, so it's very easy to have different states of the same effect recalled per snapshot.
-
You can assign multiple effects to one footswitch, and once you do that, they're tied together. That doesn't mean they all have to be on or off at the same time, just that the footswitch will toggle them all together. As far as how to assign effects to footswitches in Signal Flow view, you can select the bypass control by touching FS2 to active the controls in that scribble strip. Using knob 3, you can select the footswitch or expression you want to use to control the bypass of that block. Some effects, like wah, you wouldn't typically want to assign to a footswitch, so you can assign them to come on when you move the expression pedal. In HX Edit, you can do all of this by clicking on the Bypass/Controller Assign tab beneath the signal flow view.

I use the Voodoo Lab current double cable along with their reverse polarity cable, and then plug that into TrueTone L6 adapter. You need to the reverse polarity cable in this setup because the L6 adapter reverses the polarity as well as converting to the 2.5mm barrel size.
-
To go to Signal Flow view, hit the menu button (the three horizontal lines), and you'll see Signal Flow above the one footswitch. Hit that, and then you'll see all nine blocks in the lower three scribble strips. To navigate from one block to the next, use the big knob. Push down on the big knob to load effects in the block. In the scribble strip above FS2, you'll see the bypass assignment. You can select whichever footswitch or expression pedal you want to turn the block on and off. I should also add that if you use the editor, HX Edit, you'll always see the entire signal flow at all times, so that's probably faster for doing this sort of editing.

G50 multiple transmitters on 1 receive frequency
phil_m replied to Journeyjoe's topic in Relay Digital Wireless
If you mean simultaneously, no, they'll interfere with each other and you'll get dropouts. If you want to have multiple transmitters set to the same frequency and have one off when the other is on and vice versa, yes, you can do that. -
When you say you cleared all presets, how exactly did you do that? Did you do a factory reset?
-
The Duoverb only has a few built-in effects. It has reverb, of course, and the FBV will let you access way and volume. That’s all there is.
-
Snapshots recall the bypass state of each block as they were when the snapshot was saved (the Snapshot Edits global setting determines if you have to manually save each snapshot or not).
-
You need to turn the headroom parameter up if you're hearing clipping. That should solve it. It may still be possible to clip it with the headroom parameter up all the way, and if that's happening, you need to lower the level of the signal going into that block, not lower the level of the outputs. If you turn the Bit Depth and Sample Rate parameter all the way up on the Vintage Digital model, it's actually probably the most pristine delay on the Helix.
-
Yes, the buffered bypass from the Rack would be your best best, because that gives you access to the Rack's variable input Z circuit, and it skips the A/D conversion. You can also use the Rack's USB 7 output to get a dry track via USB.

I'm on 2.60, yes... Was this an existing patch that had the original looper block in it? If so, it might be worth deleting that block and putting a new 6-Button Looper block back in. I tried it multiple ways - staying in overdub mode while exiting looper mode, stopping the recording (loop still playing) while exiting, and it worked as expected in all cases. So I'm not sure. If you haven't opened a ticket, you should. If you're experiencing something weird, it would be good to track it down.

Relay G10 live performance failures
phil_m replied to MadScientistDude's topic in Relay Digital Wireless
This is actually the first report I've read (at least that I can recall) of an issue with the USB A side of the cable. The issue that there's a long-ish thread on here is about the micro-USB (USB C) jack on the receiver failing. Anyway, you should open up a support ticket. It shouldn't be a big deal for Line 6 to send you a replacement power supply. -
Relay G10 live performance failures
phil_m replied to MadScientistDude's topic in Relay Digital Wireless
So are you saying you're able to put the USB C cable into the receiver upside down? The jack is keyed, but I suppose with enough pressure, it would be possible to put the cable in incorrectly. -
I don't understand what feature you're saying was removed. The 6-button loop behaves the same way now as it always has. In the first post, you say you leave looper mode while the loop is still playing, turn effects on, and then go back into looper mode... That still works for me. It will only erase the original loop if you stop playback before leaving looper mode. I just tried it, and everything is working as expected.

Take a look at this:

The RJM Mini Amp Gizmo can switch channels on the Supersonic if you get the custom cable along with it, and you can control that with MIDI from the HX. That ends up being a rather pricey endeavor, though ($278).
