  1. Yes. You can set the footswitch the effect is assigned to behave like a momentary switch instead of latching in the Bypass Assign screen.
  2. That’s the expected behavior. The FACTORY 2 setlist isn’t completely filled.
  3. Are you trying to use the Bypass All function? That doesn’t work with the 4CM. It bypasses everything, including the FX Loop block, so you end up sending a single straight from the HX Effects’ input to the amp’s fx return. So if you want to hear just your amp, you need to bypass everything except the FX Loop block. The easiest way to go about it to probably create a bypass snapshot that does just that.
  4. I’d also say having an example of the tone you’re after is going to be more useful than simply describing it. Personally, I think clean tones are kind of easier to accomplish in general, just because there’s fewer ways to mess them up.
  5. Yes, everything you stated is correct.
  6. It is the answer... Specifically, you have to go to the Command Center in the YouTube Remote preset, and navigate over to that footswitch. You need to edit the command for the backwards and forward appropriately. From that link I posted above, it looks like you need to revise the command for backwards to be a "j" instead of left arrow.
  7. You can edit anything you want on the Command Center. Here are the available shortcuts: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7631406?hl=en
  8. What the heck is your issue? Do you have a certain bug that is affecting you?
  9. You can connect two Powercabs or two DT amps via L6 Link, but you can’t connect one of each. It’s just a limitation on how L6 Link is implemented on the Helix. You could connect the Powercab via L6 Link and then use a 1/4” cable to send audio to the DT-25 and control it via MIDI. Or you could do the opposite... I guess it just depends on what you want to do.
  10. You can do it with a MIDI controller, but that’s the only way. I wouldn’t say every guitar processor works like you’re saying, though... Every Line 6 processor has worked the same way in having the the tuner function being accessed by holding the tap switch down, actually.
  11. No, it’s not possible... What sort of looping time are you looking for?
  12. Do you have both sets of inputs set to the same level in the Global Settings menu?
  13. Line 6 support is much bette than Boss/Roland’s for sure...
  14. Are you running the latest version of HX Edit? If so, did you do a factory reset after updating to 3.10?
  15. I pretty much explained it, didn’t I? What I described above is how you go about assigning the block to a footswitch.
  16. You need to install the latest version of HX Edit.
  17. Did you do a factory reset and a restore from backup after updating?
  18. By the way, I should add, the faster way to add a block is to do it directly from Stomp Mode. You just hit the footswitch for the empty scribble strip, and you'll see the prompt that tells you to turn the big knob to select a block. You select the block there, and the bypass assignment will be made to that switch automatically. If you need to move the block in the signal chain, you can then go into Signal Flow view, navigate to the block, and then move it using Knob 1.
  19. I'm not sure what you're referring to as "Edit Mode" here... There isn't really such a mode (there's Pedal Edit Mode, but that doesn't sound like what you're describing here). I'm thinking you're probably talking about Stomp Mode. Not all blocks have to be assigned to stomp switch, so if a block isn't assigned to a stomp switch, you can just go to Signal Flow View navigate to that block, and select what footswitch you want to assign it to by turning Knob 3 (Knob 3 corresponds to the "Switch" parameter in the scribble strip above FS2).
  20. Did you do a factory reset and a restore from backup after updating? If not, that would be the first thing to try. Your IRs should not have disappeared. Also, are you running HX Edit 3.10 as well as having the 3.10 firmware installed? Sometimes troubles with the IR block happen because of running the older version of the editor with a newer firmware. Regarding the input block for Path 2, you've never been able to select Path 1 as the input for Path 2. You just keep it set to None, and the audio is sent from the output block where you have 2A or 2B set as the output.
  21. This is probably going to sound confusing, but you have to separate the controllers, EXP1 and EXP2, from the actual physical pedals, EXP1 and EXP2. The actual physical on-board pedal is EXP1, regardless of the fact if you have it set to act as EXP2 by toggling its function with the toe switch. So that setting only changes the polarity of the physical pedal. If you had an external pedal connected to the EXP/FS jack, it would be EXP2, so the respective polarity setting for it would affect that pedal. In any case, most of the time it's not necessary to mess with the pedal polarity settings. It comes into play when trying to get certain external pedals to work correctly.
  22. Using an adapter shouldn’t cause any issues.
  23. In this instance, EXP2 refers only to the external pedal. The EXP1 setting controls the on-board pedal regardless of whether it’s set to act as EXP1 or EXP2. That’s why the EXP2 setting isn’t doing anything in your case.
