I don't understand what you mean by this... The LED is in the ring...
-
Feel better? What exactly is the problem you're having with 2.81?
-
It shouldn't make a difference, really. All the connections from the Helix are buffered, so they can drive a signal a long way without any noticeable degradation.
-
I believe the wattage rating includes the tweeter as well as the woofer... Not sure how they actually split up. But wattage ratings of speakers have always been only a little bit better than meaningless insofar as to how it relates to the actual SPL of the speaker.
-
The 20W version doesn't have a tweeter, so it's kind of always been in Classic Mode.
-
The only differences are cosmetic - different silk screening and knobs. Beyond that, the hardware is exactly the same.

I don't understand why you'd want to run your monitor signal through the Helix. It can be done, but it's more trouble than it's worth. If you're sending you Helix signal to the board, that will be coming back through your monitor already, and you already said you can control your own mix... So what benefit does running the monitor signal through your Helix get you?

Do you mean FS4 on the Stomp? If you went straight to 2.81 from any other firmware other than 2.80, your Global Settings were reset. You probably need to double check what you have the function of FS4 set to in Global Settings>Footswitches.
-
You don’t want to download that file directly. All you need to download is the latest version of HX Edit. That will give you the latest version of HX Edit, Line 6 Updater and the drivers. Run Line 6 Updater after doing that with your Stomp connected and it will send the update.

I think this is because of the Wait parameter. It's really designed to work for situations where pushing the pedal forward engages the wah (or whatever effect you're controlling). In your case you're rocking the pedal back, so the Wait parameter won't work correctly. It will actually act like a delay in engaging the effects. The solution is to go into the Global Settings menu and set the polarity to Invert for the EXP you're using. Then you'll have to reverse the min and max settings under the Controller Assign tab. So instead of setting the bypass point at 97%, set it to 3%. Then that Wait parameter will work correctly.

What menu are you talking about?

8 stomp view = Stomp Mode... Hit the Mode footswitch.

DT25 Bricked - Any more ideas other than already on the forum to date ?
phil_m replied to Joeleft's topic in DT50 / DT25
Did you try powering it up in Safe Mode? Hold the channel select switch down to 'Channel B' and power on the DT amplifier while holding this switch down. Let go of the switch after 10 seconds or so, then re-start Line 6 Monkey and follow the steps above to update/re-install the flash memory.- 36 replies

See my comments about the Mix parameter above. If you have it above 50, the dry signal will be attenuated.

Are you talking about the "Known Issues"? I think there's always known issues. They just decide which ones are minor enough to put off for a future release and which need to be addressed immediately.
-
They have the Spider V 20 now... That would be the replacement for the Spider IV 15. Actually, there's two versions - the Black and the Red.

The 2.81 patch with various bug fixes is available now. CLICK HERE if your Helix/HX hardware has already been updated to 2.80.0 firmware. CLICK HERE if your Helix/HX hardware is running firmware 2.71.0 firmware or older.

Never use any sort of USB hub, which may include the front USB ports on the front of towers Helix Native will not open in hardened runtime builds of Cubase 10.5 Some tempo synced effects can act authentic with the global setting set to transparent if tempo changes are controlled via snapshots. In HX Edit, importing a setlist containing Command Center > Instant commands may transmit the messages even if no new preset is loaded Logic Pro X is currently unable to write snapshot or switch automation data for Helix Native In HX Edit, performing an undo after a block cut or clear can delete the block's footswitch and/or controller assignments In HX Edit, moving an effect, amp, cab, or IR block can sometimes inadvertently reposition a Split or Merge block In HX Edit, certain Output > Powercab and DT parameters cannot currently be assigned to snapshots via Alt+click/Option+click. For now, press and turn the knob on the Helix hardware In HX Edit, Ctrl+click/Command+click on certain Output > Powercab and DT parameters may not reset them to default settings In Helix Native, changing models can clear automation assignments of common parameters (such as Amp > Bass or Delay > Time)

Well, the first step of the update process (assuming you've already created a backup) should always be downloading and installing the latest version of HX Edit. This gives you the latest drivers as well as the latest version of Line 6 Updater.

Does your Parker have a TRS output jack? If so, then I imagine the piezo signal would come through on the ring connection. The G10T won't work with that, as it uses the ring for charging. You could try using the little TRS to TS adapter that came in the box. That would short the ring connection to the sleeve, so that may work.

What I hear you saying is you want to change presets without changing presets... It doesn't work like that. The Stomp assignments are all per preset. Sorry, it simply sounds like you have a misunderstanding about the basis operation of the unit. But to answer your question, no, you can't do that - not without changing presets.
-
Stomp Mode is just a different way to view each preset. It doesn't exist outside of the preset architecture. In order to change presets from Stomp Mode, you have to hit the Mode footswitch, and select the preset you want to load. If you want to go back into Stomp Mode automatically, you can go to Global Settings>Switches and set the Preset Mode parameter to Momentary. That way the HX Effects will go back to Stomp Mode (and you'll the six stomps switches associated with that preset) automatically.

It's interesting that the CPU usage is so much higher in FL Studio than in Reaper. That seems to be the big issue. I wonder if there's some setting in FL Studio that's causing that. I use Native with Reaper all the time, and I've never run into any issues. I mean, I have projects with probably 10 or more instances of Native running, and I have a bunch of other plug-ins as well. I'm running an Asus ROG laptop with a 2.6GHz i7 and 16GB of RAM on Windows 10.

Think of like this. You're always in a preset. A preset is made up of up to 9 different blocks. If you go into Stomp Mode, that lets you access the six stomp switches to turn whatever you want off and on in that preset. There's also a mode called Snapshot Mode, but if you haven't looked into that yet, just ignore that for now. So, there are two possible settings for Stomp Mode - 4 and 6 stomps. It sounds like you have yours set to 6 Stomps. To change presets from that view, simply hit the Mode footswitch. That will take you back to Preset Mode. You can use the Bank Up and Down switches on the left to select different presets.

Just one clarification - selecting Channel B from DT25/50 section of the output block, doesn't automatically turn of the preamp/amp block in the Helix. It does let you use the DT's preamp, though.
