  1. Uninstall the program called Helix. It's the original, now obsolete, editor.
  2. You just need to try a different USB port and possibly a different cable and start the update over again. Eventually it should work.
  3. It shouldn’t take more than a few minutes. If it has been longer than that, turn the Helix off, connect it to a different USB port, and try running the update again (restart Line 6 Updater).
  4. It’s working on my Helix and DT25. Are you getting audio over the L6 Link connection to the DT25? Is your DT25 running the 2.0 firmware?
  5. Did you restore from backup? If you didn't, all the Global Settings, including the Global EQ, would be reset to their defaults, so this could make a difference in the way things sound.
  6. A different cable is the first thing I'd try.
  7. That looks like a 300. The 600 had a tremolo. The 300 didn't come with a gig bag, though. I don't believe the 600 came with an XPS footswitch, though. I could be wrong about that.
  8. Make sure you have HX Edit closed.
  9. You need to download and install the latest version of HX Edit.
  10. You need to download and install the latest version of HX Edit.
  11. So you have the latest version of Updater installed?
  12. I've not seen a claim that everything was tweaked... I actually don't believe they did a lot to the existing models, but they may have made minor changes to some of them. They did change the default high and low cuts on the cab models, and they revised many of the factory presets in the FACTORY1 setlist. I attribute most of the comments saying things sound better to the placebo effect. It happens after virtually every update.
  13. It explains it right in these release notes, which I linked to in my update instruction thread...
  14. It allows to save the preset you're editing in whatever slot you want now - a welcome addition, imo. If you just want to save it in the same slot, just hit OK at the bottom of that dialog box. It's an extra step compared to before, but it's a nice check to make sure you don't accidentally overwrite something you didn't want to.
  15. Do you happen to have your cell phone in your pocket? I get this sort of clicking when I leave my phone in my pocket, and it's close to my guitar's input jack - not specifically with the Spider V, but just in general.
  16. I’m not entirely sure I understand what you’re wanting, but I think you could do that with a parallel path and controlling the level parameter in the Split block. Pretty much any parameter in the Helix can be set up to be controlled by whatever CC you want.
  17. No, it's the other way around. You can send QWERTY keystrokes to applications on your computer from the Helix. It's useful for controlling things like Record, Stop, Start, etc. in DAWs and other programs.
  18. Those are the incorrect footswitches. You need to hold footswitches 9 & 10 to do a factory reset. You're triggering a test mode.

Yeah, just use two of the PoT blocks. There are slight differences to the sides in the act KoT model, I think, but you can still get pretty close with two PoT blocks.
  20. They did release new hardware, but the only hardware differences are aesthetic. All the guts are still the same. They changed the silk screen and the knobs on the mkii versions are slightly different. Firmware 2.00 essentially turns all the original Spider V amps in Spider V mkii's.
  21. You have to use Line 6 Updater. Select it from the middle pulldown here: https://line6.com/software/index.html Once you do that, connect the Powercab to your computer, open Updater and just follow the prompts.
  22. Take a look at this thread: Try restarting the Updater. That seems to have worked for a number of people.
  23. I would try updating with a different USB port and/or cable.
