  1. Are you using the Line6 ASIO drivers in your DAW? If so, you could try increasing/decreasing the buffer size.
  2. The app is v1.1 I don't think the new firmware is out yet. I think it is currently 1.01
  3. When you select the preset from the app, it is loaded into the FX100's hardware, but the display does not reflect the change. I hope they change this in a future update.
  4. Correct, this is normal operation. Selecting a tone from the app loads it into the FX100 hardware, but the pedal display does not change. I do hope they change this in a future FW release.
  5. In Reaper, you need to select ASIO at the top of the menu. This will then change the drop-down options available in devices. Select Line6 ASIO UX1. In inputs enable 1 as the first and 4 as the last. Then in PF's mixer view you can configure what is sent to the 4 sends going to Reaper.
  6. There will be different opinions on whether are not it is "safe" to run the main outs into the front of the amp. But you may get a better sound out of the wah's (in case you don't know, there is more than one wah to choose from) if you run the main outs to your amps effect loop return. The amp out I think is best suited for amps that have no effects loop. It is similar to selecting "combo amp" from the xt/X3 series in the "what are you connected to" options. Also, plunging a cable into the amp out disables all guitar sounds going to the headphones and main outs, but allows music streamed from the player.
  7. You can plug your guitar into your amp. Run the effects send to the guitar in of the FX100. Run the FX100's main out or outs (depending on if you amp,s loop is stereo) to the amps effects return. This method uses your amps preamp. Or you can plug you guitar into the FX100's guitar in and run the FX100 main out(s) to the amp's effects return. This method bypasses your amp's preamp.
  8. Heel a& Toe request http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/AMPLIFi-FX100-Heel-Toe-Paramters-for-Wah-s/629572-23508?submitted=1
  9. I have no idea. But I did submit to IdeaScale to add the ability to assign the Wah to the tweak function. The Tweak function can be assigned to any effect parameter. You can vote on it here. http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/AMPLIFi-FX100-Assign-Pedal-to-Tweak-Function/626369-23508 I will also submit a request to add heel and toe setting for the Wah. Not sure what the turn around time is, but if things get enough votes they will review it, and I have seen things from IdeaScale added to products.
  10. Do you have your speakers connected directly to the UX1? Are selecting Line6 ASIO as your device in Reaper?
  11. Sometimes when I load a song there is a small interruption when loading the tone match. Also when I change patches there might be a small interruption. Other than that it only breaks up if I walk too far away.
  12. You can save a preset to the hardware, which causes it to be in the user bank you saved it to on the hardware. You should be able to change to any of the 100 presets via the app from the hardware view page. Look for AMPLIFi on the left.
  13. ninen2001, when you say your headphones are plugged in, are they plugged into the pc or the UX?
  14. BigChas, that's what I thought too, but I have been able to use my UX2 to monitor the pc's stereo mix in this fashion without the need to launch POD Farm. (Some Zap guy set me straight!!) But over the years I've seen some users get this to work with Skype and some not so much.
  15. I know you have set up Line6 as the default playback device, but Windows may not know, I know it should, but just give the following a try. Regarding the Listen tab (3rd link snapshot) please select "Speakers (Line6 - UX2)" from the drop down and ensure the "Listen to this device" box is checked.
  16. On the screenshot of the 3rd link, is Line6 available from the drop-down menu?
  17. Just create a dual path tone on POD Farm 2.5x You can not put effect after the mixer in POD Farm standalone, bit you could route the entire track to a POD Farm plug-in post processing. It really depends on the workflow you are after.
  18. Just for clarification, make sure you are using the most recent version of Monkey. Also try different USB ports and cables.
  19. I think I see what your are saying now. If you record with your Lynx, you want to be able to set the Lynx's sampling rate via POD Farm. But if you are using the Lynx to record, just know it and/or your DAW is setting the sampling rate. I know in Reaper I can request a sampling rate from the interface, which is what I do. So the instant I launch POD Farm, it defaults to the rate from my DAW.
  20. I will just add that investing in a mixer will solve a lot of the inconveniences and swapping cables back and forth. Doesn't have to be anything fancy.
  21. With the other modeling softwares you mention they are not their own audio interfaces. If I were to use POD Farm 2 with a different interface, then the Line6 Audio-MIDI control panel will show POD Farm 2.exe as the ASIO client. But becasue you are not recording with the UX, there is nothing for it to sample, which is why it is inactive. If you are recording with it, your DAW should show up as the ASIO client. I use Reaper and set my bit rate/depth within Reaper, and as soon as I launch Reaper, the UX sees Reaper as the ASIO client and then uses the sampling rate set in Reaper. Have you tried recoding with the UX via USB? You can capture wet and dry simultaneously and if you have the plug-in you can add it to the dry track post processing.
  22. The UX1 does not have phantom power (the UX2 does). To use a condenser mic you will need an interface with phantom power, like the UX2, or use a separate mic preamp that has phantom power.
