    Also if you did not purchase PF, typically the red Toneports will enable PF1 standalone and no plug-in and the black POD Studios PF2 standalone and plug-in.

    I would open a support ticket with Line6. When do you get the BSOD? As soon as you select the Line6 ASIO driver in Reaper? In the meantime, try different USB ports. Also make sure your video card chipset drivers are up to date.

    Lower the gain on the Scarlett or use the POD HD as your interface via USB.

    If you have a red-faced Toneport chances are you are entitled to only the POD Farm 1 hardware enabled license.

    This is a case where you would try the installer file outside of Monkey.

    Do you have access to a Windows maching to try USB? If you do get a MIDI to USB, made sure you get a decent one with a return policy. I've seen users report issues with some of the cheap ones.

    Just for clarification, you already tried a USB cable?

    First make sure you are using the newest version of Monkey for your OS. Then install the latest driver, if Monkey has a problem seeing the PODxt then run the driver installer outside of Monkey. Assuming you get the current driver to install then flash the PODxt to the current FW which is 3.01. I can't remeber what the cutoff is, but you may need to update the FW past 1.x via the MIDI port with a MIDI to USB cable.

    The way I read EvilWish's post is he replaced all the caps marked, but only the one marked green solved the issue.

    Pretty sure you cannot sell or transfer the license. I would reach out to Line6 directly for an official newer though.

    Just to eliminate something simple possibly overlooked, you selected VST3 during the install?

    My apologies for assuming you knew the difference between line level and instrument level. The only 2 Line inputs on the UX2 are on the back of the unit. The front of the unit has instrument and mic inputs (not Line inputs). You can also download the user manual which is a good resource. Cheers!!
