Also make sure you have the most recent drivers which can be installed via Monkey or with the driver installer. -
Also download the Monkey, it will promt you to install PF2 and drivers.

Whoa!! That's quite the reaction for my response to "Where's Line6 Tony?"!! Was just pointing out this is not an avenue for direct support in response to your question, "Where's Line6 Tony?". Not really true, depends on the nature of the issue, many of which are resolved over the phone or via support ticket. Not sure how it’s obvious, and I’d be willing to bet the majority of the posters realize this is a user community. ??? That would be very frustrating, gotta give you credit for trying to stick with Line6 based on that track record.

Fortunately it is not. Two totally different algorithms. You can try to recreate you tones manually by selecting similar models as a starting point, but the routing is more flexible with the POD HD so it may be worth it to think beyond PF.

You should be able to get plenty of nice cleans. Line6 will drop in every now and then, but this is a user forum and not a direct avenue for official support from Line6. To get direct support you can call Line6 or open a support ticket.

I haven't tried the Dragster, but have you considered use the xt as your interface instead introducing an extra AD conversion? -

Just for clarification, Monkey shows green ticks for drivers? Is this in conjunction with a DAW or even system sounds stop? -
Navigate to the downloads page, link is at the top of the page. Select PF2 and your OS from the dropdown menus.

Yes, just DL PF2 and it will run in trial mode with limited models.

It’s because Line6 was too lazy to actually model the effects, so they conjured them up with a replicator and shrunk them.

What exactly is wrong with the POD Studio? You may be able to get it to authorize PF2 if it's plugged in. Otherwise you can run PF1 standalone. I would also reach out to Line6 and explain your situation.

Spec wise it is!! And even though tone is subjective it is also. Bassically I'm using my HD as an interface for Native until I get a Helix.

Make sure you are logged in, I think the site has been a bit buggy with randomly logging out. Also, call Line6 or open a support tickect, they'll sort it out.

Did you just call my Black Bean ugly!! LOL!!! I doubt a proper converter could be coded, but if someone where able to somehow create one, I would be worried about patches being corrupt. I agree with Silverhead that there’s likely not going to a demand for this, crafting tones with the Helix is a different mindset.
