  1. If you did not purchase the model packs via your Line6 account.... ^^^What he said!!^^^ Usually the original owner can gift the model packs to the new owner, but there are some exceptions.
  2. I think the 1st part is the Mercuriall and the 2nd two guitars PODxt. Dig the 80's alt vibe and keys!!
  3. If you are more concered with playing out and portability rather than acurate monitoring for mxing and recording, I would recomend powered DJ speakers, they are more rugged for transporting and typically give you more loudness per dollar. Most nearfield desktop monitors are really meant to travel to gigs.
  4. Also make sure you are downloaidng the Helix Native software and not the Helix Firmware.
  5. The filters on the downloads page are being weird. Try selecting All products from the first dropdown. and Helix Native from the second. Or just click the Helix Native 1.1 pic, it will take you to the 1.5 dl.
  6. Yes, definalty. Do you havve something else you could try your mic on?
  7. This is normal behavior, the UX basically becomes your soundcard. You can mute sounds in Windows’ Volume Mixer.
  8. Are your speakers or headphone connected directly to the UX2?
  9. Have you run the Line6 Monkey to make sure you have the proper drivers installed? You can select Mic from the mixer view in PF or in the Line6 control panel. If you are launching PF standalone, no need to use the control panel. What you choose for the meter to monitor does not affect the signal going to your DAW.
  10. Make sure you have phantom on and you are selecting Mic in POD Farm or the Line6 Audio-MIDI control panel.
  11. There should be no diffence in sound/recording quaility between the Toneport, POD Studio PF1, and PF2. As Mike mentioned, Audacity does not support ASIO out of the box, but you can compile it to include ASIO support, you can check their wiki. IMHO you are better off with a more robust DAW, Reaper is on of many and the trial is free. Also, if you did ant to upgrade to PF2, you can with your Toneport, but depending on the price you may be better off purchasing a POD Studio.
  12. Not all of them, but (I think) most of them. Is it out yet???
  13. I could be wrong on the cutoff date, but if you have PF2 full verison running on your Mac you should have a license. The reason FX Junies shows up is because that modle back is free with the UX2. I'm not a Mac guy, have you tried installing the other plug-in format?
  14. If you have a black-faced POD Studio (not a red-faced Toneport) it should have a hardware enabled PF2 license. The exception would be if the POD Studio was registered for the first time before a cutoff date (October 20009 I think) which is not common. Have you run the license manager?
  15. Are you perhaps in the Plug-In version as apposed the the Stand Alone?
  16. It's pinned in this Helix Native forum. ;) http://line6.com/support/topic/29033-helix-native-150-coming-soon%E2%80%94dont-look-for-it-now/ (VG posted the Helix announcement)
  17. Try running the Line6 Updater to make sure the Firmware is the most recent.
  18. Yeah the Favs if for Tone matching. Just save any tones you want quick access to to My Tones.
  19. HA!! I have fabricated a memory more than once that I would swear was fact!! Just for clarification, do you have a Black-Faced POD Studio UX2?
  20. Even with closed cans, I hear the dissonance if the headphone cord comes in contact with the body of my JTV!!
  21. You can downloads it from the downloads page. After you install runt the License manager. And if you have a UX, PODxt or X3 also run the Line6 Monkey to make sure you have all the current drivers/firmware.
