  1. 1) You can only pair one BT device at a time, but the Remote App has a player, so you could have the backing tracks on your compatible iOS or Android. But yes, you can use the aux in at the same time, the modeling does not affect the aux in or the app's player, just the guitar in. 2) Yes, when you use the AMPLFi as a USB Audio Interface, all your pc sounds will be routed to the AMPLIFi (unaffected by the modeling), while you hear the modeled guitar. Also, the guitar tone can be captured in you DAW via USB.
  2. I find that statement presumptuous. Have you SEEN my laptop speakers??

  4. The aux/mp3 input doesn't go thru the modeling anyways. Buy yes you can have an empty patch.
  5. Used as a foot controller for the AMPLIFi 150? No. But you could run the FX100's main outs to thew AMPLIFi AUX In, but these 2 products aren't really meant to compliment each other.
  6. You might look into an Active PA Loud Speaker(s), which will give you a nice flat response which works well with the FX100. I do not have any specific recommendations. Here is a quick category search from Sweetwater. Line6 also has their Stage Source line, but I think it starts at ~ $700. http://www.sweetwater.com/c134--Active_Powered_PA_Speakers/low2high
  7. Create a dual path tone. Dial a hi-gain signal chain on one path and a clean on the other. You can also capture the processed and unprocessed signals to separate simultaneously by configuring the sends in PF2's mixer view (There are 4 sends total). This is convenient for capturing the wet tone as a rough draft and then adding the plug-in to the dry track post processing for unlimited tweaking.
  8. That would work for the plug-in version, if the OP even has a plug-in license, but not the real time Tone Direct monitoring. With some DAW's and computer configs, you may be able to monitor the plug-in in real time while recording with a usable latency. The original Toneports did not come with the plug-in license.
  9. Maybe wait until you can demo the Firehawk. But only you can answer what I/O options are going to work best for you. 5) Where did you read that? The POD HD and HD X series, with the exception of the HD 300 & HD 400 will have a firmware update that will allow you to purchase additional model packs. I know, not much help!!
  10. My apologize, didn't see you troubleshooting the first time. Does it sound the same through headphones? Does this happen is you record straight to a DAW via USB? In case you don't already know, the AMPLIFi can be used as a USB recording interface with the most recent firmware and audio drivers. Can you post a sound clip?
  11. The UX and XT series came with models packs for Gearbox/POD Farm. The POD X3 was fully loaded, it is like a PODxt wil all the packs.
  12. These are the first Model Packs for purchase since the original POD HD (non x) first came out (2010 I think), so I doubt there will be more packs available to purchase with each new FW.
  13. Did you try different guitar cables? Do you have another amp to plug directly into? Do you have active pick-ups?
  14. You can used it as an audio interface to playback sounds and record, but there is not Mac or PC editor at this point. But with the newest firmware, the AMPLIFi Remote App is compatible with most Android phones and tabs running 4.4 or higher.
  15. Try POD Farm 1.12, unless you are saying you purchased a new POD Studio (black-faced), the use POD Farm 2.5.
  16. Yes, you can use the Hardware Blend knob. You cannot pair 2 devices simultaneously to the AMPLIFi. But for live use, I would use the cable to the AMPLIFi's aux in anyway.
  17. +1 to BillBee Use the disc as a coaster, flying disc, or installation art!! :) (Line6 is not responsible for injuries or damage if used as a flying disc).
  18. I'll give this a try and flag the issue. Do you know if this was after a specific update?
  19. The tones will not transfer, Firehawk uses different algorithms.
  20. It should stream all sounds, but the AMPLIFi Remote app will only play local files, iTunes if you're using an iOS device. So you can't use the app to edit while stream music from outside the app.
