  1. The Update Utility is for PC only at this point. Please try a PC running Win 7 or 8. Alternatively you can update via Bluetooth with an iOS7 or 8 device, although this will take ~30 to 40 minutes. If you go the iOS route, make sure it is plugged into a power source and you are using WiFi. My guess is the majority of units in circulation are from before the FW release that added Android comparability.
  2. Yes. If you purchase in your region you should be fine.
  3. Use the Left out since the Power Engine is mono.
  4. I have gear acquisition "discussions" with my wife. LOL. I'm hoping to discuss acquiring the Firehawk in the near future (I currently have no JTV integration).
  5. Try this: http://line6.com/support/topic/6247-line-6-super-fail/?hl=province
  6. I'm confused, what is plugged into the Live Out L(mono)?
  7. If you select Line as one of the inputs, you cannot use Instrument or Mic. The possible dual combinations you listed is correct. You could however use an external mic preamp and you Line1 + Line2
  8. It's possible the lead for the A string piezo detached from the board. Hope the next one works out.
  9. Yes, the delays go up to 2000ms, there is a stereo delay which you dial in the delay time for L and R independantly You could also have 2 delays, one on each path, if you want one use one of the analog type models. The feedback for delays can be dialed in from 0 to 100%.
  10. Using the AUX bypasses all the modelling and uses all the speakers. No matter what tone you dial in on the AMPLIFi it will not affect the AUX in.
  11. You could run the main outs of the Firehawk to the AUX input if the AMPLIFi, making it FRFR. http://www.amazon.com/Hosa-CMP153-Cable-Inch-Dual/dp/B000068O3C
  12. Try forgetting the connection. Then do a factory reset. The re-pair the.
  13. How are you connecting to the computer? Audacity doesn't support ASIO unless you compiled it to do so (the info on Audacity's site). You really should be using the Line6 ASIO drivers. Without hearing or seeing your issue it is hard to diagnose. Can you post a sound clip?
  14. Can you explain what you mean by listen to tone from cloud by FX-100? What OS is your Android?
  15. BTW, you can install the app even if you do not own an AMPLIFi.
  16. Yes, you can search for tones by Artist/Band, Song Title, tone description.
  17. The Tone Matching only works with files stored locally.
  18. That's one hell of a feature for headphones!!
  19. Since you have the Toneport, you likely do not have the POD Farm plug-in unless you purchased the license. The newer POD Studios come with POD Farm 2.5 Standalone and Plug-In (tied to the software) You can capture both the wet and dry signal simultaneously to different tracks in your DAW. This is helpful for you to be able to hear a decent level while recording, you can then add plug-ins to the dry track post processing. Without hear or seeing the waveforms, what you are getting for levels may be normal, a mic's signal needs to hit a gain stage somewhere for it to be usable.
  20. Naw, not a stupid question. I get mixed results depending on location and if I'm using the iPad or my Moto G (2nd gen).
  21. I'm assuming you tried the mic gain on the UX? You will need to add a preamp model. The Console and Modern can dial in some pretty clean sounds. Is this an older red faced Toneport or the newer black faced POD Studio?
  22. I don't own a SV, but I did I quick check, I don't think it can receive MIDI messages from devices other than the FBV MkII.
  23. Did you see the Firehawk that's coming soon?
