Zooey I have yet to hear software alone (Amplitude, GuitarRig, Revalver, etc etc) beat a dedicated $1000.+ hardware unit. Ever. I think you will be awestruck.

Take yer pack off and stand at ease.. I think that Cruisinon2 was just stating how much more powerful (2 Sharc processors) the Helix is versus the older HD. What some will do when you insult their ride.... :P :D

No No, thank YOU!

Wonderful news !

Blessed are those who go in circles, for they will become wheels...

Had a K12. Great PA speaker but for me it was too muddy tone wise for a guitar speaker. The CLRs were much clearer, and the Firehawk 1500 is good too.

Kudos to the Retailer, poo on Line 6 QA....

As Amsdenj stated, people are failing to get it to hold connection using USB 3. We all know that its gots issues connecting folks, now lets figure out why. Is there ANYONE using a USB-3 port, and able to connect and keep a connection with it?

I noticed there was a place for a power brick hookup on the Controller for the Helix Rack. Does the Foot Controller need this brick for power, or is it powered by Helix?

Late 2009 Mac here- I hope yer right B)

Ok then, to answer my own question, Line 6 needs to fix their Editing software to play nice with the Mac version of the Helix editor. Another question, since OS makers give out early pre-copies as you say, then how come the Mac version doesn't work again?
-
It doesn't depend on how Apple see's it because on their OS update it says "The OS X El Capitan v10.11.4 Update improves the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac, and is recommended for all users."
-
Yep yer spot on about PT Phil...
-
OK so the $64 question is... Is this a Line 6 issue or a Mac OS issue?
