If thats what you think. OTOH I wouldn't take a new corvette back just cause the tires were bald. Sell the old Variax and buy a later one. You will be happier in the long run versus downgrading to a Zoom IMHO. Then again the righteous tones of Helix isn't for everyone. Best of luck!

Are we "STILL" beating this dead horsey? Is it ALPO yet? If a drummer misses a beat because you messed up, id fire both of ya. :lol: OK All jokes aside- Line 6 has to KNOW about the delay by now, after 124 posts. So my thought is to give them time to deal with it, or answer why they can't deal with it.... Can we at least agree that repeating there is a delay over and over won't speed up anything at this point even if others state nothing can be done, or its not a big deal? Let Line 6 handle it, do their magic, and I bet they will if they can. ;)

We all get upset when we don't do our research beforehand, but lets put the blame in perspective. You didn't waste your money on Helix. You didn't waster your money on an older version of the Variax either. What you did was assume two things would work perfectly together. Welcome to todays humanity club....

There has to be "SOMETHING" wrong with it ! Otherwise I might fail my drama class!!!! :lol: Honestly for everything made, there will be a percentage of it with issues. Everything. A little more here, a little less there... Worrying about everything won't help, and there is No way around it. So, the trick is to get passed that, and then there is less narcotic meds needed in life...

I'm wondering if static discharge from the shoes off the carpet can damage these newer touch switches on Helix? Surely they tested that in pre-production... Then again Llnl designed stuff for other climates that did rather poorly, all because some engineers heads there are stuck in the Cali clouds so to speak.

Be sure (its a duh thing) to back up (save) those presets outside of Helix, just incase they wind up in the bit bucket...

What I register at Line 6 is my business. Ive been buying from them since early 2000 or so. Nice try, but It has nothing to do with how I sound, or don't sound - they are worth my money and its as simple as that. Thanks for including me as people. And I for one have not voted you down for anything even if this is worthy of such. So, ya Been to Kinkos yet? You still mad Bro? ;) Happy printing!

To answer the 1st question, No theres a hand full that don't understand the manual would be cost prohibitive and make Helix cost even more. Then there would be those that say "why did you print a paper manual, do you hate trees?"... As for comments, theres one post just above this thats pretty stupid too.... If you can't afford to goto Kinko's, just say so....

Yea had my overall volume down to 50%, a bit low- but when I cranked her up to 75% the FH started rattling the house :D
