Problem: After upgrading to macOS Catalina, some mac users found that some apps can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. A dialog box pops up, click "OK" button and the application will close. Solution: Make sure you have dragged the installer package to /Applications to complete the installation. Our users have found that dragging the package into the Applications folder works best. This package appears after the installer .dmg file is opened. Problem: If you try to open the installer you downloaded, and you are blocked by the Mac System. You may need to disable the gatekeeper within your system preferences. You may see a prompt like this: Solution: 1. Go to “System Preferences” then “Security & Privacy”. Under the General tab, you will see a message at the bottom, “Application "Line 6 Updater" was blocked from opening because it is not from an identified developer.” 2. Click on “Open anyway” and the application will be opened.

I've just updated my Macbook to Mac OS Catalina and Line 6 Monkey and License Managers aren't working. They need to be updated to 64 bit. ASAP. Does anyone know if Line 6 is working on this?

Hey guys. I've had my Pod Farm UX2 for about five years at this point and I've recently switched over from my Windows laptop to a new MacBook Pro with OSX Catalina. I was able to download the Pod Farm 2 program and I installed the Line 6 Audio-Midi Driver 7.6.8 via the Website (as Line6 Monkey doesn't work on Catalina), but neither the license manager nor the Line 6 Audio-MIDI Devices in System Preferences are recognizing anything and the UX2 is blinking red. What should I do?

Hi, When is the drivers expected to work for Catalina macOS? Been waiting a while now, have got red light when plugging it in for the last 3 months. Unless this is an error on my end and I haven't set it up properly, when is the update coming out? Thanks

Well I decided to updated my 13 years old laptop and upgrade to a Macbook. Seems like the recent updates on the page have no effect on scanning my device. Honestly my device was working well in my DAW application before I decided to download the license manager and pro x edit. Now no device shows up. Anyone else still use this rack unit and have or have had the same problem? I did uninstall and re-install but nothing seems to work..

macOS 10.15 Catalina Compatibility
Line6Tony posted a article in Operating System-specific Information
With a few exceptions, macOS 10.15 (Catalina) is supported by our currently active applications and drivers. Below is a detailed rundown of compatibility issues for Line 6 products on a case-by-case basis. If you run into any problems or have a question for us, please reach out via the Contacts page (https://line6.com/company/contact/). Editors: • All currently supported editors work as expected. • The following editors are no longer supported at this time and will not work on Catalina: Line 6 Edit Vyzex Backtrack Utility Updaters • Line 6 Updater works as expected. • Line 6 Monkey is not compatible with macOS 10.15 (Catalina). A solution for Catalina customers to update firmware is in-progress. Drivers • All currently supported drivers and devices work as expected except for the Helix custom driver. • Helix class compliant audio works as expected. • The Helix custom driver (which adds support for additional sample rates) does not yet work correctly. Plug-ins • Currently, Helix Native and POD Farm 2 work as expected on all supported DAWs, except Cubase, as there is no 64-bit VST version of POD Farm 2 for macOS. As DAWs are updated to adopt Apple’s latest requirements and security measures, our plug-ins may need to be updated to continue working with those DAWs. We will work with DAW vendors to update Helix Native and POD Farm 2, but we cannot guarantee that they will not release updates that break our compatibility. If you run into trouble installing our software under Catalina, please see this article: If you've updated to Catalina and you're having trouble with the software that we list in the article as working, it's likely you have a 32-bit version of those programs installed. Please uninstall them and then download the latest version of them, which will be 64-bit. We also have an article that describes how to run older OS versions in order to use discontinued software. -
