Dear all, unfortunately I can not install the Line 6 Gear Box on my OS X El Capitan. Does someone has some experience on this issue and maybe a solution? Thanks in advance!

Hello, When I launch my Cubase 5 on my mac with El Capitan, I have no audio input or output working with the Helix as usb interface. SInce Helix kinda works with Garage Band (with the beta for developpers 10.11.2 (Build 15C48a)), and since I can use Cubase 5 with a Roland Capture Duo EX USB interface (with and only with the same new 10.11.2 build), I suspect that my issue comes from Cubase 5 or Apple El Capitan which for some reason cannot interface well with Line 6 Helix. So I have 2 questions: @Line 6 : do you have any information regarding using Helix with Cubase on the latest Mac El Capitan OS? @Forum : Are there other people here who manage to use any version of Cubase (say 5 to 8) with the Helix on Mac OSX ? Thanks to all, Regards

I have a MacBook Pro 17 with an Intel Core2 Duo processor and 4 GB of RAM. I've downloaded the latest Line6 drivers and Monkey and installed both. When I run Monkey, under Device Firmware I see "USB Firmware" version is "Unknown". "Flash Memory" is also unknown. In the info box, I get this message: "This item is installed, but its version could not be determined." If I then attempt to "Update selection" in Monkey, I get this message: "Could not establish a connection to the TonePort KB37. Please check your USB connections. If the device is plugged in, try disconnecting then reconnecting the USB cable." I have done that, to no avail. I tried using a different USB cable, and got this message in the Monkey info window: "This item can only be upgraded using a USB connection. If you are currently connected using MIDI cables, please connect the USB cable and click the 'Change Device...' button, or restart Line 6 Monkey." I did that, and got the message: "There was an error communicating with your device. If it is a USB device, try disconnecting then reconnecting the USB cable. Error: (Code 80007103) Failed read from firmware." I disconnected, then reconnected again with the previous USB cable, and got the same message but with "Error: (Code 80007004) Hardware is not present." Before, when I connected the KB37, both VU meters would light up, with the needles pinned at MAX. This time, all I get is dimmed VU meters, with alternating clip lights. Any help would be appreciated. --Jack

I've been using my Pod UX1 for about 5 years now with absolutely no issues. Today i updated to El Capitan and suddenly i'm getting no audio from pod farm and no visible input signal. Not only that but when i try to open Logic Pro 9 it scans all my audio units and then stops on POD Farm forever. It will NOT scan Podfarm. What is wrong here? I have all the latest drivers etc but it just isn't working. Should i try reinstalling podfarm or is it simply that Line 6 hasn't updated it yet? HELP

I am running a tone port ux2 into logic 9 on El Capitan (10.11.6) with the most recent driver update for everything. My computer and logic recognize my tone port ux2 as an interface, but no sound can be heard and the level needles are not moving. Any solutions? I guess I should note that my computer will not allow me to install gearbox, which seemed to be key in past operating systems. Thanks

I just installed Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan on my MacBook Air. I waited a while to install this specifically because the Line 6 drivers are always bad early on. Sure enough, I've updated my drivers and now when I output from my Toneport UX2 using the analog outs into my monitors or through my headphones there's a constant crackling noise coming out. Please help me fix this.

I bought a Toneport UX2 this past Saturday and was surprised to find that it did not work, for reasons that I understand might be more on Apple than Line 6 (or not). I have read through the posts I've found here about El Capitan, how (and which sequence) to update the drivers, even the bit about using some kind of command line bash code to get POD Farm working, but I still cannot get any sound in POD Farm or ultimately Garageband. I put in a support ticket and they were surprisingly little help. I outlined my problem and even provided screen shots of every relevant setting and of Line 6 Monkey to show that I had everything set as was outlined in the instructions regarding the driver update. From the response it seemed pretty clear that none of the screenshots were looked at. I don't want to return my brand new UX2, but currently it's doing me as much good as another hole in my head. Is there anyone else out there who has POD Farm working with El Capitan 10.11.3 or am I some sort of anomaly edge case? (if I seem particularly salty it's because I work in software. This god damn UX2 was supposed to be my escape from faulty code, things that don't work like they're supposed to for no apparent reason, crappy support, and basically everything I'm currently experiencing)

OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 Problems HELP
Dakotaruins posted a topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
I'm having issues with Podfarm after updating to El Capitan. I plug my UX1 into my mac and i get the green light (which says its connected and supported.) However nothing appears in my system preferences audio inputs and when i open Podfarm it says it isn't connected (No sound either.) So i go to update my drivers and after i'm finished updated, before i restart, i get an error message telling me the CDSDAudiocapturesupport.kext can't be used or something. I've heard Roxio's products can affect this but after removing them i'm still having the issue, no sound, no input and when i restart the drivers say they HAVEN'T updated. Someone please, help, what can i do?! I run a small studio from home and we were meant to be recording tonight but instead i've spent tonight trying to fix this issue. Any ideas? -
I'm currently running the 4th public beta of OSX El Capitan which will be released to all Mac users in the near future. I've encountered an issue where the operating system is not able to use the POD HD500 as an external soundcard for music production in Logic Pro X or even just for general media consumption. I was going to chalk it up to it being an unperfected beta release but the curious thing is that my Native Instruments Guitar Rig audio device works perfectly fine. Will Line 6 release a driver update after the public release of the operating system? Have Line 6 had to do this in the past when new operating systems are released? Anyone experiencing a similar issue? Any feedback would be much obliged. Cheers, Jordan.

I can't believe it … OS X El Capitan is out for 45 days, with OS X 10.11 I was not able to use my POD HD500X anymore as an audio interface via USB, OS X 10.11.1 let's me hear something again, but it sounds terrible and there are many glitches … It's still unusable. I'm really disappointed at Line6 about their support. You should not treat your customers this way.
