This is a thread for guitarists (and bassists! The low end is important!) who want to share what their rig is and what they are planning in the future. Share what Guitars, Effects and amps you have! Currently I'm a part of a Punk band and this is what I work with: Guitars: A Stratocaster (Looking at some Les Pauls and some dimarzio evolution humbuckers. An old mexican squier tele currently it doesn't have a nut or strings Pedal Board the good ol' Boss tuner, the tu-3 Boss BD-2 ( my favourite overdrive by far) Boss MD-2 Arion Chorus (the thing is like as old as a dinosaur but sounds super good) Hx stomp 1. Phaser 2. Tremolo 3. Britt 2204 4. 4x12 cali 30 cab 5. Plate verb 6. Digital Delay Boss dd-7 (isn't a part of the board, because I'm using the hx stomp for delay but will use it soon so I can free up space on the stomp for eq) That's my Rig so far I'm planning on buying some more effects and a boss Katana 212

Hey, i recently got my HX STOMP, I play bass (metal band) and the way i have it set it up in my preset is i split crossover the signal into a high freq and a low freq. I added a compressor into the low freq chain and thats it, and into the high freq i use distortion and a cab sim. My question is: Can i send a signal to my cab (without the cab sim) for stage fill and a signal with the cab sim on to the FOH (that would be my main sound) Thanks a lot!

had a great gig last week.. used Helix for my Guitar and Bass and had E-drums (connect to Superior Drummer) all running through 1 L3T and the sound was Killer! Seriously light rig with plenty of power!

Hey guys! I am contemplating selling my DT25 combo and HD500x for a Helix, thoughts? I also have a JTV 59, if that influences the decision.

Hello all, I have a POD 2.0 running firmware v2.2 and controlling it with an an original Line 6 Floorboard: I am trying to map my POD 2.0 Floorboard controls so that I can control parameters in Guitar Rig Pro 5. I have seen videos and posts on users using the newer Line 6 floorboard models with Guitar Rig Pro but I have no clue on how to do this with the original POD 2.0 Floorboard. I have my MIDI INs and OUTs connected correctly and Ableton is showing that I am transmitting MIDI signals from my Floorboard. However, I cannot seem to find the right software to manually map the POD 2.0 MIDI CC#'s so that Guitar Rig Pro 5 can see them. For instance, when I move my volume pedal on my Line 6 Floorboard, I would like it to control a knob in Guitar Rig Pro 5. I have installed Line 6 Edit and Line 6 Monkey which I don't think helped my situation. Has anyone done anything similar with the original Line 6 Floorboard? With the amount of POD 2.0's still out there, I'm sure someone has tried to connect their gear with Guitar Rig Pro or Amplitube? Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

Hi there. Im using UX2 Studio I've found that certain setup is impossible: I want to play something with background mp3 using Guitar Rig (not pod farm) While running skype i cannot reach the proper sound from microphone. The person who is calling can just hear the guitar sound from Guitarrig or Overdriven microphone (depending on pod farm output setup) I was messing with setup in pod farm 2.5 and i can ONLY reach the setup: Person is hearing sound from microphone and guitar is overdrived from Pod Farm 2.5 But i dont want to have overdrive from Pod farm. I want to use Guitar Rig. The problem is that guitar rig overdrives every input from UX2 not just guitar. Is there any possibility to setup Pod Studio UX2 with Overdriven guitar (with Guitar rig) and clean microphone in that way so People calling me with Skype would hear the sound from microphone? Or is there any stereo mix driver for UX2 so i could mix mp3 with guitar sound (guitar rig) ?
