It is a dynamic RODE, that needs phantom power (already activated on helix), and no soumd is comming at all. I used it at pod hd with external phantom power and it is ok. Should I send it back again? Edit: it is condenser mic

Absolutely agree.. PPL like the quality failures... Especially here, after the scribble stripes that a lot of ppl complained (including me), the mic input fail, and your switch fail, there are guys that cheer up the quality issues, and guys that disagree on this... http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/Quality-Control/800595-23508 need to say more?

Never had a rectifier, but as I can see here and what was modeled before on all previous gen pod devices, the master of the rectifier is not correct. As well as the FAC of orange and ubeschalls presence.

I am using also the 2 pin adapter, and I don't get any buzz... I don't think it is the culprit... The thing that you touch and it stops, means grounding issue.. I would go with Alex knivels answer and get a power conditioner.

Yes a bit! At least it is not the headphones output. That leads to: Bad headphones or bad guitar grounding or bad cable I believe it is the guitar. If u have an opportunity can you try another guitar?

For sure it is a grounding issue, since when you touch the guitar it stops. Try to put the monitor from the headphones exit. And then try to plug headphones to the line out. Then you will figure out where is the culprit.
