Nope. You think that almost everybody is there. Small, but important difference, I guess ;). Trust me, there is still a life without it. And it's worth living!

Warning!!! Don't let USB connected to PC for a long time.
klangmaler replied to rlm01's topic in Helix
Please, read this: http://line6.com/support/topic/24000-all-clear-you-can-connect-helix-via-usb-to-pc-for-a-while/ -
No need for such a warning... Seems as if someone had eventually probs with heat accumulation (or a trollish mood). Before posting 'warnings' please use the Bug reports thread instead: http://line6.com/support/topic/16083-helix-bug-reports/ (and / or get yourself a support ticket). Thanks.

...calm down, folks...

Variax Owners: how is Helix + Variax working for you?
klangmaler replied to soundog's topic in Helix
Playin a JTV 69-S with Helix. No 'tracking' at all. Most flexible for live playing - and studio arrangements. Hoping for a 'bodyless' (pure piezo) JTV model - with acoustic IR's even more flexibility, I guess... If you're playin' unaccompanied, modeled sounds sometimes can sound a bit artificial... Still waiting for the Workbench HD integration. -

Part II of the 'dreamrig revisited questions': Maybe DI could tell us something new - will Workbench HD functionality be integrated soon? I know you wouldn't tell us any specific time or date ;) ... But will there still be hope ?!
-
Yep. This has been discussed here quite often. Try different headphones - your Helix wasn't so cheap, right? ;)
-
That's again something what we're waiting for. Workbench HD integration in Helix assumed! Maybe (again: maybe) we'll have some nice adjustments with the next (firmware) updates?!
-
Totally agree. Otherwise go ahead, polish your Helix and lock it in a shrine. Don't forget an alarm system and pray for its preservation! ;) Besides: What can we do if there should ever happen a power blackout?! You won't see the colored knobs anymore! That's my personal nightmare... :(

Phew. 'Twas late last night, wasn't it?!

...honestly, the first bricket that drove me crazy years ago was a b o s s pedal that seemed to have its own 'life': It was like playing the lottery at many gigs... Will it work? Should I tap on it? Will it fume again? Well... Helix is a tool. Simply use it - and stomp it to death :P Feels better than worrying about - what?!

Thought folks already voted for the clock function on ideascale - maybe with included power interruption countdown ;) NO WAY!!!
