  1. Maybe try the Helix forum? This is for DreamRig..
  2. Maybe try the POD Farm forum? This is for dream rig...
  3. I'm not really sure what you are doing or why you would want to. Sorry...
  4. I guess you should try the pod farm forum as this one is for Dream Rig...
  5. I have a DT 25 and find that L6 gives the best sounds as you can change topology via the POD. Use your ears though as some of the amps (to my ears) give a better sound using a full sim rather than a pre SIM.
  6. I've said this in other threads but I used to 'mod my POD' with a computer. I needed to make some changes on the fly (luckily at a rehearsal not a gig) and I couldn't/didn't know how to do it. I therefore learned how to craft a tone with the knobs on the POD and now I rarely connect it to a computer. I would say your are in a better position then most as you can learn to craft your tones straight on to the unit so won't have that 'oopps' moment...
  7. I have a 59 and stick a capo on to keep the tension on while I play with the tuner...
  8. I think you will find you need to add the pack back using Monkey.
  9. I know it reading rather than watching but the manuals are a great place to start.
  10. I don’t think there is meant to be any compatibility. It would be just like using a regular guitar with the xt. Any changes would have to be made using the knobs on the JTV.
  11. Or have two patches next to each other the same but one with delay on and one with it off. Switch patches and ‘voila’! Remember there is a setting that enables delay ‘tails’ when you switch patches so make sure this is off!
  12. I got loads of hits here: http://l6locator.yamaha-europe.com/?country=FR#tab=tab-1
  13. I think the short answer is ‘no’ you can’t and ‘yes’ they removed the integration. I’ve held off going Helix as there isn’t ‘L6 Link’ integration. There is talk about this in other threads and as I recall it was all ‘use a clean sound on the amp and model with the Helix’ or use a midi controller. Very short sited in my opinion and destroyed the idea of Dream Rig. Everyone seems to be frfr theses days....
  14. You just need a hex key (should have come with the guitar). If you are not sure what you are doing is probably best to get it set up by a guitar tech. They don't need to be a Line 6 person, just know about guitars. There is always YouTube but....
  15. Probably best to try the pod farm forum. This one is for dream rig...
  16. As far as I'm aware all JTVs use the same vdi and interface...
  17. You have to attach it to the Monkey software...
  18. Mine doesn’t / hasn’t done that...
  19. Sounds like a good call. if you are using the ‘59 for acoustic stuff there is a good patch called Acoustic DT based on a patch by Rads that I modded so it also has an ‘out’ to the PA through the effects loop (whilst maintaining a decent enough stage sound). Experiment with pre and full amps as some seem to sound better one way and others err, the other. I used a high quality mic lead for L6 before ‘upgrading’ and whilst I’ll probably start a whole new thread by saying this, I don’t personally notice any difference! Maybe my gig-shot ears before someone jumps down my throat! lastly, gigging anywhere near Bromley? Might come and see you!
