Yes, the active block's parameters should be displayed. Sometimes talking to a human beats text. Hopefully, Josh got it right when he passed it up.

Use the Toe Switch vs pedal position for ON/OFF?

Are we talking about two different things? What, exactly, did you say in your support ticket?

You posted that table while I was typing. My guess would be that it works because your Player is set to receive on Channel 2, or, it's set to OMNI and prefers Ch2. MIDI can be weird like that. My Catalyst Amp can be set to receive on any channel, but only works consistently on Ch1. I had an amp sim which could be set to OMNI, but would only work consistently when set to a specific channel. Any channel. Go figure!

The Kemper Player Manual says this: "Rig Change The PROFILER Player storage offers ten banks with five Rigs each - fifty Rigs overall. These can be loaded via MIDI program changes # 1-50 respectively." That would seem to me to mean that: Bank1 = MIDI PC# 1-5 Bank2 = MIDI PC# 6-10 Bank3 = MIDI PC# 11-15 etc. So, the easiest way would be to set Global Settings>MIDI/Tempo>MIDI PC Send = MIDI or MIDI+USB. Your first 50 presets should then call the 50 Rigs in the player, assuming that the Player translates PC#0 to PC#1 (most MIDI devices will do that). Otherwise, you'll need to disable that Global setting and set an Instant Command in CommandCenter to send the proper PC#. The manual also says: "The Player is compatible with universal MIDI foot controllers, which were designed for the KEMPER PROFILER use its “relative” method based on CC# 47-54 to load sounds. This includes the application of the global parameter Bank Load which can be found in System Settings." I think that this passage is referring to devices such as the FCB1010 with the UNO4Kemper chip or the Eureka chip designed for Kemper. It would probably be better understood like this: "The Player is compatible with universal MIDI foot controllers which were designed for the KEMPER PROFILER and use its “relative” method based on CC# 47-54 to load sounds. This includes the application of the global parameter Bank Load which can be found in System Settings." In any case, based entirely on my reading of the section in the Kemper Profiler (NOT Player) manual on the "relative" method referenced above, it seems that this would be a two part operation. I would try the following: Disable the aforementioned Global MIDI Send function. Use CC#47 - a value of 0-9 selects one of your 10 banks, then use CC#50-54 to load one of the Rigs in that bank. OR Use CC#47 to select the Bank, then use CC#48 - value 0 steps one Rig up, value 1 steps five Rigs up, value 2 steps to first Rig of next higher bank of five. OR Use CC#47 to select the Bank, then use CC#49 - value 0 steps one Rig up, value 1 steps five Rigs up, value 2 steps to last Rig of next lower bank of five. CC#50-54 value 0-4 should load a specific Rig in whichever bank you're in. Again, all of the above is pure speculation based on reading the KPA Manual. Try it and let me know if any of it works.

Working from the preset you provided I don't see a "Dirty Rhythm" Snapshot. I have ToneX with a dirty Marshall loaded up in my FX Loop, and I'm not getting a pop when I go from CLEAN to CRUNCH, SOLO1 or SOLO2. Are you asking about a different preset? if so, attach it.

I see what you did there ;-)

I checked on my Floor, and what you described is what is happening. What's more, some of my presets the parameters stay on the WAH, some on the Volume! IDK if this is a recent change, it's something I don't pay much attention to since I always use the full sweep on both WAH and Volume, and the Floor has the Scribble Strip above the Exp Pedal to track the sweep, but I seem to recall that at one time it worked as expected - whichever was active, its parameters were displayed. You found a bug! I called support and spoke to Josh, who verified the problem and says he'll pass it up the ladder. EDIT: You may want to open a support ticket - squeaky wheels and all ;-)

First, PLEASE, just type directly into the reply box. Whatever you did there is very difficult to read. When you assign a Command TYPE to either an Instant Command or a Footswitch, the TYPE of command will be the same in EVERY Snapshot. The specific PARAMETERS of that command will default to that command's DEFAULT settings in all other Snapshots. EXAMPLE: The DEFAULT parameters for the "MIDI CC" command type are MIDI Channel = BASE CC#0 VALUE 0. So, if in Snapshot 1 you set Footswitch 1 to Command TYPE = MIDI CC with Parameters: MIDI Channel = 16 CC#5 VALUE 127 THEN FS1 in every other Snapshot will default to type MIDI CC - MIDI Channel = BASE CC#0 VALUE 0. If you want the parameters of FS1 to be something other than MIDI Channel = BASE CC#0 VALUE 0 in the other Snapshots then you need to set those Snapshots individually to other parameter values. If you want the other Snapshots to be identical to Snapshot 1 then you can use the copy/paste functions by right-clicking on the IC or FS.

Since the Floor and LT are basically the same operations-wise I'd say it's probably a problem with your specific LT (aren't you lucky!). Next step is to try a Factory Reset. Don't forget to back up first!

The Kemper Player manual says this: USB Ports (19) Use the USB type A port to connect USB flash drives for PROFILER backups and operating system updates. Please consult the chapter Updates, Backups and Sharing Sounds for details. For KEMPER Rig Manager™, USB audio and USB MIDI connect the USB type B port of the PROFILER Player to either a USB type A port or a USB type C port on the PC. ✓The USB type A port can also be used to connect an universal MIDI foot controller or any other MIDI device with standard MIDI sockets via a USB MIDI adapter. Be aware, that there might be limitations since these adapters often don’t support SysEx messages The bolded part seems to be saying that it can act as a MIDI HOST, so you can use one of these: Amazon.com: iConnectivity mio 1-in 1-out USB to MIDI Interface for Mac and PC : iConnectivity: Musical Instruments There's cheaper ones, but I know that these support sysex because I use one for that purpose.

You need to route the USB MIDI output from your HXFX to the Kemper USB using either a MIDI utility such as MIDIOX or a DAW.

I've seen this on my Floor when assigning the pedals manually, switching the focus manually (and SAVING) or toggling them manually. My solution, since I use both in every preset, is to start out by placing a WAH and a VOLUME as my first step when creating a preset. If it gets out of sync I just delete both, SAVE the Preset, then add them back in. I'm not sure if the SAVE step is essential, I just do it.

This has been reported before many times, and not just with a particular block. It is some sort of a bug that they haven't seemed to be able to track down yet, but the solution is usually to perform a full factory reset. Don't forget to back up first!

That is proper and correct. The DI signal is low to allow headroom for re-amping/post processing. These articles explain proper recording levels. https://decibelpeak.com/recording-levels-digital-recording/ https://recordingmag.com/resources/recording-info/mics-miking/capturing-the-cab/

If you have "Touch" enabled AND you assign the FS to also send a CommandCenter message AND you activate the switch barefoot or by finger, it will do that.
-
You would need to have a separate power amp for the guitar cab, as the PC has only a Line Out.

In your case (unless I'm missing something) the only reason to use L6 LINK Mode would be to enable per preset changes to the PC112+ internal configuration which would mean getting a different sound from the PC than from the Cat. If you want "true" stereo just use the Helix 1/4" outs to the PC's Input and the Cat's Return with the Outputs panned hard left and hard right. Use the PC's speaker emulation mode to find the speaker that best matches the Cat's speaker. In this configuration the "loop" mode on the Cat just allows you to use the Cat's Post FX which would give you a different sound from the Cat than the PC. You could bypass the Cat's FX, in which case the Cat's output would simply be higher than not using the loop mode (loop mode adds, IIRC, a 6db boost) which would be useful if you need more volume from the Cat to match the PC. Keep in mind that, in regard to "true" stereo, no matter what you do the PC and the Cat will always sound different, but the configuration I described will get you as close as possible. If, for some reason not explained, you want to use the L6 Link Mode vs the 1/4" Outs, the signal path would need to be split at the end (using up that path's split which could be otherwise used for parallel FX processing) with one Output Block set to DIGITAL and panned hard LEFT and the other Output Block set to 1/4" and panned hard RIGHT with the cable connected to the RIGHT Output jack. Using the 1/4" outs as described above is much simpler and is what I recommend.

If you're using external FX in that FX loop, yes. At that point it becomes an existential choice...What do you want from life? a Helix Preamp replacing your amp's preamp, or the external FX instead of Helix FX, or a baby's arm holding an apple? (extra points for identifying the song reference without Google...) You COULD use both FX loops, with your external FX in one and the amp in the other. That way the FX work with whichever preamp is active.
-
@SiriusVIDid you get this working? At the time of my previous reply I was not at the computer with Cubase, but since then I have tested (Elements 12) and Helix records and responds to playback as expected.
-
You're running the Placator PRE into the JCM2000 PRE where it's acting as a boost to the JCM. In your CLEAN Snapshot, disable the FX Loop. This will put the Placator (plus FX) directly into the JCM2000 poweramp. I'm not sure where the MASTER Volume is in the JCM circuit, so you probably want to turn down the Helix Volume Knob the first time you use that snapshot and turn it up slowly. If the JCM Master doesn't control the power amp level (it's not located post RETURN in the circuit) you'll need to assign the Output Block Level to Snapshots and lower it in your clean Snapshot to compensate.

Make sure that the Track Monitor switch (sometimes called Input Monitor) is set to OFF (or AUTO). Otherwise, because Helix is both Input and Output Device (which is the correct way to configure it) you're creating a MIDI Loop as described by @silverhead. You should also keep that switch set to OFF (or AUTO) on your Audio track, otherwise there'll be a slight delay added to the guitar sound you hear as you play. EDIT: In Cubase that switch is simply called MONITOR (the one with the speaker icon) and it is located next to the Track Record Enable switch.

Been there, done that! Rock On!

HX Edit can only show what's actually on your Floor unit. Maybe you can use your phone to take a picture (pictures) of the actual screen(s) on the Floor because, TBH, it's sounding like you need to RTM. I know, that's not what you want to hear, but what you're describing makes no sense, so please, take those pictures.
