    Did you move over your saved patches from the old computer? "tin can with a spoon in a silo" sounds like you have reverb on full.

    Try a different CAT5 cable to the amp. Check the pins of the jacks on both the FBV and amp, they are easy to bend out of place.

    That's not an issue with the FBV, it's an amp problem. If you unplug the FBV, does the same thing happen with the sound?

    Totally depends on how you use it. Does the Express NOT do what you need? I haven't gigged with mine in years, but I found it easy to set up the preset patches on my Spider how I wanted, no need for individual switching of particular effects.

    "Classic Speaker" is a particular cabinet/speaker setting, so you can't change it. Full Range lets you alter the speaker emulation and the mic that is 'picking it up'.

    If you are recording into a DAW, you don't need a looper! Just record the the rhythm guitar into the DAW, play it back while you do your lead guitar work. You can't play a loop (from a looper) into the amp and change FX on your lead guitar without also changing the sound of the loop.

    Assume you mistyped - "3/4 inch" and you mean 1/4"? Is this the audio output from the edrums? Plugged into the front jack on the amp? You turned the channel and master volume controls up and no sound? Since this model amp is fairly old, assume you got it used, are you sure it even works?

    If you are happy with the tone/sound you get using the USB direct from the amp, then there is no immediate reason to change anything. I prefer to mic my Spider amp (into an interface), as I have found that I like the sound better than way.

    Yes, you should use a CAT5 cable, not 6.

    This wa a known issue with some active pickups. Putting a non-true bypass stompbox (any) between guitar and amp usually works.

    If you are referencing the FBV MkII Express, step on the volume/wah pedal firmly (it needs more pressure than you can do when sitting).

    No, you can't keep the sound of the loop and change the amp's patch for a new sound to play over the loop if you are using the amp's speaker. You would need a post-FX input/output to do so (FX loop). Spider Edit allows you to write/change your patches for the amp but won't allow you the looper functionality you are seeking. If you take the DI/headphone output of the Spider amp and run that to your looper (watch your levels!), then run the looper's output to another amp or PA, you can then change the amp's patch without affecting the looper-recorded patch. These were always the drawbacks for the Spider amps - no FX loop, and using the DI/headphone jack mutes the speaker.

    No, holding one of the buttons down puts it into 'store mode', then you press the button again to save. I don't know why all 4 blink. Just try it!

    I think you are a little confused. There are no 'B sub C' patch locations, only 4 patch locations on the Spider IV 30. Set your amp sound. Press and hold the A, B, C or D button. Release, press the same button again to confirm.

    Yes, you have it. I don't know what you mean by 'select back that setting'. if you mean go back to the original factory setting, that is one of the presets, so you would need to do a factory reset by holding the A button in while turning on the power = note this will clear out your user patches from all 4 patch locations.

    Have you read the user manual (advanced)? https://line6.com/support/manuals/spideriv75 There are 16 User Banks, each with 4 locations, so you can store up to 64 different patches.

    First thing to check is to make sure the guitar is not the fault. Do you have a PA or amp you can plug the Taylor into? When you plug a cable into the Taylor, look inside, can you see the red light from the preamp?

    I am sure there you youtubes showing how to do it, if you don't want to read the manuals. Hook up amp to pedal, pedal to computer via USB, log into line6.com, register your gear, if not already done First install Line 6 Monkey, the software upgrader, then use it to check and update your FBV and amp software. Oh - if you get a used FBV MkII, make sure it works, or that you can return it if you find it doesn't - some of these older pedals got fried by a software update (many years ago) and not everyone bothered to get a replacement. If Monkey won't connect to it, then its fried!
