9v to micro USB adapter for G10
AlexKenivel replied to AlexKenivel's topic in Relay Digital Wireless
I think it will be okay. The PP2 has dip switches and two outputs that can adjust from 4v to 9v. I'm waiting on a board for my Helix and looking to affix my G10 to it as well -
9v to micro USB adapter for G10
AlexKenivel replied to AlexKenivel's topic in Relay Digital Wireless
I'm hoping the difference isn't damaging, and I'm hoping that since the base draws only what it draws, it wouldn't draw more than that so I'm safe, right?.... RIGHT?? Lol -

Meh, I'm over it. Thank you tho. Rebuilding my main presets was pretty easy. I've refined things this time around and I'm much happier about what I've got. Moral of the story: Save often, folks.
-
Not the case. The program deletes any invalid characters upon pressing enter, and no nothing like that was going on. After leaving the thing alone, medicating and calming down, I've already begin to rebuild presets. I didn't have a whole lot of them, mainly floated around one or two and the rest were all just messing around with different amps. Thanks for the help silver, I don't think a support ticket is going to get my presets back
-
So now I go to import my setlist with all my main presets, and all of the signal chains are that of the US double normal Factory preset :Z Power cycling didn't help. Excuse me while I leave the room and start destroying things
-
No. I started with 2.1. My Helix is two weeks old
-
I'm flashing the firmware right now and hopefully I'll be able to at least use the USER 2 slot without glitch in out. I already have my main set list backed up but my second "Amps" set-list that was there is gone forever. No biggie though, it was just presets using every different model in each one with the same IR.
-
They're both 2.1. I've done nothing different over the past two weeks since I've had my unit and all of a sudden this happens. Now even when not using the editor I can't switch to that other set list without every single preset on my Helix going blank. Turning the device back off and then on again restores my first setlist but my second one is empty. If I go to the empty set list and then back to my original set list, all the names are blank and presets are all volume/red squeezeminotaur/chorus/us double nrm/
-
Is what the editor is telling me as I'm trying to change set lists. Now it looks like the set-list I'm trying to go to has been deleted, well at least the names of each preset are blank and now all of the signal chains in every preset have the same exact blocks. What happened?

Does it happen when assigning channel volume to the expression pedal?

Alls I was pointing out was that L6 has at one point designed fx-only devices, remember this?: That's what I quoted from you and that's what I'm talking about. Stop trying to convolute things please
-
We're talking about two different things then
-
Acclaim? I don't know. That's not the point of what I was pointing out. All I'm simply saying is Line 6 has indeed focused on effects with some of their lines of pedals. The DL4 for example, is very popular (if acclaim and popularity is your aim here) and I love and still have my FM4. Haven't you heard the seeker and Obi-Wah? Minus The Bear hordes any DL4 they can find and John Fruciante uses them too..

Vote Up! Navigate Helix Amp & FX Models w/ Footswitches.

My Alto TS112a goes everywhere my Helix does. Your situation with a tube amplifier it's going to be a tough one unless you have another one of those tube amplifiers at home, it's never going to sound consistent. If I were you I would use full modeling and stick to that for headphone usage at home
-
That may be true about the beginnings of line6 but they have also focused on effects, the M series is huge! I miss some of the effects they didn't include from the M series :(

I've read it in the massive Helix thread on TGP which I've been following since it started. I'm not going to dig up the post, but the comment was made by Digital Igloo, and I believe I can even remember him spelling the word "long" with extra o's when talking about how long the Helix will be updated for. In the same thread he's also said that there are no current plans to charge for future updates. Read up

A few points here: 1. When the Helix came out of the gate L6 stated that some of the effects were ported over from the HD series. 2. The Pitch Shifter effect in the HD was NOT polyphonic, but when mixed right could be convincing for at least basic needs 3. L6 has stated that they are working on new everything all the time and will be updating the Helix engine for free and for a long time. 4. Polyphonic pitch shifting is pretty popular on ideascale, right behind the request for the PRS Archon. I voted it up here: http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/High-quality-detune-capo-a-la-EHX-Pitchfork-etc/754044-23508 I suggest you do if you haven't already and hold your horses.

This: http://line6.com/support/topic/24129-wah-engaging-by-itself/?do=findComment&comment=185136 Mainly the part where on my Helix screen the pedal position will say 1% when it's really all the way toe down at 100%. This causes wahs to activate by themselves
-
Glad to know it's not just me, although I'm not glad that this is happening. I'd love an actual fix for this, but for now I've abandoned the switch less wah and went back to the toe button to activate
-
Okay, here's where I went wrong, you have TO do this with EVERY SINGLE SNAPSHOT WITHOUT GOING BACK TO A PREVIOUS SNAPSHOT for it to take. Still not sure if this will solve the problem of the auto engage wah going on by itself tho
