  1. I understand. It still reverts.
  2. I tried the unplugging the guitar input and sticking it into the optional exp input quite a few times and it always reverts back when I change snapshot (and yes, I saved)
  3. My helix expression pedal seems to be switching between showing just EXP 1 to showing both 1 and 2.
  4. Okay it happened again while I was in the next room, like last time. The first thing I did was run over to my helix and joysticked over to my wah block. What I found was the position on the display was at 1% while the physical expression pedal itself was all the way at the toe position.
  5. Solved! No, it hasn't happened again though...
  6. Thanks Phil, the couple times it did this I was in the next room from my helix (using a relay G10) so I wasn't looking. My time is divided this morning so I havent had time to sit and keep a closer eye on things. My unit is still running as we speak so I'll go check it again in a few minutes. Edit: nothing has changed and the wah is still off. I'm going to try to put the position back to 99 and see if it happens again
  7. I have a switch less wah in a few of my presets that are set to activate as soon as the built-in expression pedal leaves the toe position. The problem is is that I'm finding that they come on by themselves While I'm not even touching the pedal. I did adjust the tension of the pedal this morning, making it slightly looser. I thought this might be the problem, but I've lowered the engaging position to 95%, left the room, and came back to find it engaged again! I'll keep investigating but has anyone else experienced anything similar?
  8. Can anyone else comment on the case from Rondo from whoever uses one? I'm thinking about getting one for my HX and relay G10
  9. Yes the cap is for the variax jack. They came on pod HDs too so I assume any device with a variax plug will have one of those. I just discard them because they're kind of a pain in the ass to put back on
  10. The easiest way I've ever leveled any patches on any modeling device is to pick the quietest amp based on how loud it is when it's Channel volume is all the way maxed and turn down all other patches accordingly
  11. This is exactly how I set up my High Gain tone in both the pods and in my helix. Only with the helix since there is that input gate I use that for the normal hum you get and have the hard gate after my overdrive and compressor for the tight chugga
  12. I just throw in my favorite IR that I've been using since before the Helix was out. Low sag, hum, and ripple. I'm really digging the 2204 mod more than any other model right now. One word to describe it: girthy
  13. Ha. I don't think I'll give up on the Helix even if they send another lemon. This thing is just too damn slick. Yes, i'm no novice to soldering but I'm also no novice to warranties :D
  14. I can't wait for the next visit from Scarlett. Neither can the Mrs...
  15. What next one? After this I'm getting a Fractal unit! Kidding. They're sending me a new one and I don't have to ship this one back until its' replacement arrives. I can still route with XLRs and have fun
  16. I tried to flash the firmware this morning and still no change to the problem. I've emailed Sweetwater and packaged it all back up
  17. I can't find any kind of volume knob controls but I did do a global reset and it didn't fix the problem
  18. Did, did, and did, my friend. Multi and quarter inch dosent do it, I ran my iPod through the speaker with the same cable (but with a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter obvi.) and it worked fine. And yes I know the difference between the outputs and loops.. Thanks
  19. Hi. I just received my Helix today. First thing I noticed was the quarter inch outputs didn't work at all with my Alto TS112a, PC monitors or music system. Tried multiple cords and output settings. XLRs and headphones seem fine. Any ideas? Thanks
  20. Alto all day. I have the TS112a. Loud as fuck
  21. Nothing I've seen suggests you can make an electric guitar through a Pod sound like an acoustic grand piano. Might want to try a keyboard. I'm sure you can sound both instruments at the same time. Or you could use the looper and time things right..
  22. ...and if you have active pickups, using Duracell batteries gives you a more metallic top end.. :D
  23. You want a wireless transmitter for your mobile device? Lol
  24. I've had mine for about 24 hours and my WiFi router needed to be reset twice today. Almost never happened before..
