I just picked up an HS5. I usually play through my Alto TS112a and my presets translate super well from one to the other.

I'm hoping that by the time EHX adds midi and presets to their pedals, HX catches up with their new polyphonic tracking..

Experiment: Load up the same impulse response in your digital audio workstation as you have in a Helix preset and A/B.

It did it to me today during practice with no USB connected. This is the First time I noticed it without the USB cable plugged into the device. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the way it's situated on my floor board. Could this be an overheating issue?

Ah ok I grew up with PCs so I can't help you there. I used to run two IRs in parallel on every preset until I started using MixIR2. I didn't like the fact that there are only two possible parallel paths and one was always taken for IRs. I could always combine them for you..

Well if it's coming on like that unprompted then something sounds faulty to me. Try flashing the firmware and see if the problem persists

It's because you're touching the foot switches with your skin. It's supposed to do that and yes, I find it annoying at times too. There's a setting in the global menu to turn the touch capacitance off

Running 2.11, with editor 2.11 I have a preset with a modeled Vox ac30 and an impulse response in One path and in another path a Deluxe Reverb acting as an amp for a mic. I have 3 controllers routed to FS2 in stomp mode controlling the drive, bass and channel volume for a lead boost. I decided I really liked the guitar path so I copied the preset, pasted it to a blank spot and noticed FS2 wasn't doing anything. I decided to use the touch capacitive switches to swap to FS8 and the screen goes blank until I power cycle. Problem repeats. Also having an issue where the screen is unresponsive for a while, blocks aren't changing from off to on state (although I can hear the change) and pressing any UI buttons do nothing, but then randomly catches up. Kind of like a lag

I'm not at my Helix to explain details but I do something similar with a delay/cave parallel to the octo/particle verbs, and a slow phaser in front of that
