Yeah that would be difficult!

Im going to install the new driver because my USB connection to the Helix keeps dropping to the point where I don't even use it for the sake of the giant headache that it ensues. Hopefully it will help

One Button Step Through Arbitrary Sequence Of Snapshots
AlexKenivel replied to buddachile's topic in Helix
Love the idea. Upvoted -
Helix floor 2.21, spinning through the presets with the preset knob usually freezes up my unit. I'm also having a problem where my unit is constantly dropping USB connection to both of my windows computers, running on performance mode, used on all ports, using 7 different cables, yet my HD500X is having no problem. It's been this way since 2.0

Wow someone actually went in and edited the post to censor me. My workaround isn't a workaround anymore

Why the lollipop won't you say lollipop?

I can make the Essex A30 do anything. Twangy Country, warm jazz, blues, snappy funk, chunky rock, djent and other flavors of metal. Seriously. Not kidding.

You are correct. You can not color-code presets

Ideas to use the 3 Note Generator from the 2.20 update?

I still haven't figured out what to do with the 3 band compressor..i guess I'm too much of a guitar player lol
-
Yes. The Synth tweaker inside me is overjoyed today.

The new cabs sound nice! The generators are super fun

Who said the next Helix update needed more delays? That's NOT what they meant!

There's tea?

Don't see how the thread title relates to the body of the post at all. How did the FR speaker fail exactly? It's stupid easy to get awesome tone using actual guitar speakers. A little tweaking can get a modeler to sound good through anything. Ive been strictly a FR player for a few years now but I used to love a modeler into my old Peavey Bandit. I've gotten good tones through a portable ihome speaker, all ranges of PC speakers, headphones, PA systems good, bad, and ugly. It just takes knowledge of your device and time. It just so happens that the Helix makes it simpler than any Pod, Korg or RP modeler I've owned. These poor cats are getting skinned in all manners.

Suggestions for SMALLER frfr amplification for Helix
AlexKenivel replied to jfroines's topic in Helix
If a DXR10 is going to be too big then so will the Eon, the Alto, etc. If it's the size that matters, the iloud or some small studio monitors are what you want. I bought a single studio monitor so I didn't have to set up my PA wedge to play at home between rehearsals and such -
If you build a patch on your wedge where the EQ isn't flat, the patch won't Translate the same to other sound systems unless its been EQed the same way. Keep that in mind

I wasn't even aware of this issue.. Yikes..
-
Not possible. Sounds like the same problem I ran into. To remedy I just created a "Lead" switch in stomp mode that toggles on my boost, delay, etc. and stopped using snaps
-
This is exactly how I feel about my tones a lot of the time!

That's really up to you. Do you want a lighter load? Go for the 10. More frequency range?...oddly guitar center states the 210 has more range... Wait... Really? I'd grab the 10. I like lighter and I like more range.

I've got an older Alto as well, the 12-inch version. Beringer stuff is really hit and miss, more Miss than hit though
-
Don't forget the option of running mono and having two sources for your sound. Better volume spread if front of house is not an option

I low cut anywhere from 150 to 230. Hi cut anywhere from 2k to 5k.
