  1. A good sound man won't mix a gig stereo. Half the audience wouldn't get half the sound and anything "cool" via stereo effects would only be heard be the people standing in the perfect spot between the speakers. Just a little info
  2. Question 1: No need to power off the unit. Muting with the tuner or simply lowering the volume could solve the popping issue. Question 2: Yes
  3. Full Range cab? What's your budget? What would you like Aesthetics wise? Wedge style or more traditional?
  4. The attack should be louder. That's normal
  5. I take it back. I'm dialing in some killer tones with them now.
  6. I didn't like the thump when I was shopping for a wedge to go with my Pod HD. The casing seemed to rattle when it got loud. Maybe it was just that floor model...
  7. My Helix Floor I bought this past November has never had luck with USB connectivity. It connects long enough to transfer a few presets but that's it. It happens with all computers, Windows 7, 8, 10, OSX. I opened a support ticket and they're telling me to send it in and expect to wait 2 to 4 weeks..
  8. Well he can count to 4. Just not any higher or lower.
  9. On the unit, click the presets knob and theres a knob to reorder the currently selected preset
  10. Just curious, why feel the need to have printouts of things?
  11. My new band has their first gig early next month and the bassist and I use a Pod HD500X and a Helix respectively, through Alto monitors. The drummer is worried and thinks we need amps. Yeah, you read that right, DRUMMER! His reasoning is he doesn't think the provided PA will be loud enough! Oh the hilarity!! Not only is it extremely loud during our practices with three daisy-chained Alto wedges, we're going to be bringing those as well and he's still worried.
  12. I only had one tube amp and I didn't like it much. Away it went
  13. The Cali IV Lead can cover clean to mean in one entire preset. I've got a single preset that covers jazz, funk, country, blues, punk, tight metal, loose metal, ambience, you name it, it can do it.
  14. Out-of-context Ear fatigue. A little context goes a long way
  15. Wah, bypass assign change to whichever exp (I use exp 2), controller assign change to whatever exp (again exp 2 for me). Plug your external exp pedal into exp3 to avoid all the weirdness.
  16. I love the fassel with a super wide sweep, set to auto engage as soon as I leave the toe position
  17. Have you tried changing the curve from linear to logarithmic?
  18. First of all, your bass player sent you an email. That right there is telling you there's trouble. My bass player can't touch his phone without breaking it let alone look at a computer long enough to figure out what it is and why it isn't exploding.
