  1. Maybe just for fun I'll try to cop this Message In A Bottle tone tonight. I bet it'll be pretty easy too

  3. Ive got dimming fluorescent lights in two of my ceiling fans. I'm fucked!
  4. Maybe two or three years back when I was a fresh Pod HD user.
  5. No problem. It's a topic that has been talked about before, most people said it wasn't that big of a deal, everyone moved on.
  6. Helping you was my only interest. I lost interest in that hours ago.
  7. First putting words in my mouth, now you're assuming things. I am in fact interested in the topic, so interested in fact, that I took the time, during work, to reply and truthfully share my experience with Customtone. Unbunch the panties, sir. I suggest some Prozac, pot, or anger management. A pickup icon is the least of your worries it seems. Excuse me and I apologize.
  8. Woah, woah, let's hold up with putting words in my mouth. I'm saying for as long as I've been dealing with CT (not that long really) I've never dug deep enough to find a way to change it, nor have I really cared, nor has it really ground my gears. Different strokes though.
  9. The wonky CT layout has been the same for a while now. I wouldn't sweat the small stuff.
  10. the quarter inch out to the stagesource speaker work fine?
  11. Yes, turn up the bias, channel volume, or the level on the output block if you need volume within a preset.
  12. Stop derailing this thread please. Although, I definitely agree here.
  13. I'm not going to pretend that I'm an electrician or know the first thing about all this stuff but I can share what I think I know from my own experience and from what people have told me. I've had issues like you've described for years and I've heard that it's pretty normal to have buzz and noise when not touching the strings or any metal parts of your guitar. Only when your skin comes in contact with the electronics does the ground loop close and the hum cease (or almost ceases). Anything carrying electronic current can interfere and cause some level of noise noticeable or not. I know that my house in particular has some funky wiring. I've had a few handy friends and relatives of mine completely stumped on what is going on inside my walls. Something my cousin said, who happens to be an electrician, is that a lot of homes (in my area) built in the 1950s-60s aren't fully grounded, except maybe a few important circuits for major appliances like washers and driers. I've thought of plugging into those circuits to see if there was a difference but I'm honestly not overly bothered by it, as I've been dealing with it for a long time now
  14. He must be vegetarian..or maybe just his wife is.
  15. I used to load up intro samples saved onto my phone and play them through my pickups at gigs...
  16. Secret Sausage.. Band name potential
  17. That's what I'd do. my first Helix I received had bad 1/4in outs and I told them I'd like a replacement so Sweetwater sent me another one, and I just used the XLR outs until the second one came and for a little while I had two to Daisy chain. Didn't last long as they obviously expected the first one back, but at least you might have that to look forward to
  18. What's worse is I come from a family of butchers...ive had ribs at every birthday dinner since I've had teeth. Not so much these days..
  19. I'm surprised no one else has figured out how to get past the censor.. Honestly I'm beginning to like these threads, they turn into a nice off topic discussion usually. Although you guys are killing me with all this bacon talk.. The wife doesn't eat meat so I'm very pork deprived
