  1. there was another recent post lately where the user saw the original line6 response in their junk mail/spam folder as well... its possible they responded and you didnt see it. you might check here: http://line6.com/account/tickets/view their reply will also be on the website there.
  2. Uhm..... the topic is: line-6-should-offer-low-costfree-upgrade-from-hd-to-hd-x which is hardware... his reply was directed at the topic not you directly... so i'm not sure why you are taking as if he was making an argument against whatever it is you personally want...
  3. I'm glad you were able to be a good sport about my joke :) i think recording via usb will probably be better.... one less analog conversion.
  4. wow... someone is getting a great deal with that trade! but yeah for the time being the beans dont have much used market value... it will bounce back up once the blowout is done... probably be around the 200$ mark again... no guarantee... but i've seen that before.
  5. many people buy the eleven rack combo and sell the hardware on ebay... end up being like a 350$ rebate!
  6. They are no longer actively updating the 300/400, they were left out of the last few updates. I don't think there is likely to be a correction on this, as they are no longer selling them. you want to hear from Line6 you'll need to contact them either through a ticket or a phone call: http://line6.com/company/contact/
  7. if you're into metalcore/screamo... its better that you don't record at all. ever. :D
  8. Unless you find new old stock, they seem to have disappeared from the current products list.. so i think the market in general agreed with you.
  9. No, you need to upgrade to pod farm 2.x to get 64 bit.

  11. no arguments there! i know exactly what you mean.
  12. Dude... you're hosing up the circle! hahah we know... we were just conversing :)
  13. just let it die... whatever it means to you.... it means something very different here.... whether you and i agree or not... wishing it meant something else does not make it so... in laymans terms.. it is what it is.. accept or dont accept... it still is what it is.
  14. yes, even the resident grump believes that you can regain use by flashing to the previous version. i'd say there is a good chance you can regain use of the device.
  15. maybe.. but its not that hard to copy an empty preset either... at least with the edit program. would probably be a royal PITA to deal with on the device itself for entire setlists. I think at one point a user posted an empty setlist for just this reason... might have been the older forum software though.
  16. yeah kind of strange... but basically all the fields exist always... they either have data in them or not... the empty patch just has all neutral data in it... but its still all zeroes instead of all ones... etc...
  17. fine... if you want to believe this guy... and set around and mope... have at it... you should try my suggestion and if it doesn't work, call support or open a ticket. http://line6.com/company/contact/ apparently mochi had a bad experience. and decided to use his only 2 posts to date to let us all know. thanks.
  18. you have to use the USB. the HD300 does not have any midi connections.
  19. you cant really remove them... just copy one of the empty ones over and save...
  20. you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. for example... you cannot in any way shape or form use iOS to interface with the pod HD's... try holding the A button down when you plug it in (or maybe it was the D button?) should go into a safe or test mode, from there reflash it.
  21. sadly its part of the whole political correctness plague here... people feel they should never have to be offended... which is crap... if you smell... it my duty for all of humanity to tell you, you smell... so you can fix it...
  22. unless they say something you don't like regarding hum i guess... noone is attacking you... we are just discussing with you... and don't always share your opinion... somehow i guess that's an attack.
  23. he can post what he wants... just like you can... i believe your aggravated reaction that he replied at all... was what warranted the "calm down" remark... his contribution is as welcome and appreciated as yours.... whether or not you or I find value in it.
  24. If NAMM was just about harmonicas only harmonicas would get mentioned... but because it's about all musical equipment... we have to hear about silly amps and stuff that we don't want... it's perfectly ok if you were only interested in the harmonicas.... but every once in a while tuba players need love too.
