  1. by nature of it being global... it should apply to all.... a final tweak to match the venue... not a tone shaping tool in general.
  2. you could have made your reply without the little ding... but not everyone knows how to get in touch with support... i was trying to be helpful. in any case glad you got it working.
  3. nope! :) but i like the way you think...... this once... this one time.... right now... this post.... :D
  4. no discount... once you get rid of the toneport... (which actually owns the license not you) then you have nothing to upgrade. it's always a full license purchase.
  5. fullcompass tends to have the correct line6 parts... it's more than likely the part you need.
  6. *available via model pack purchase.... just want to make sure that's clear... 3 new model packs 50$-50$-30$ or 100$ for all.
  7. you can't torrent the model packs... no how no way... even if you could... this is the last place you'd want to be advertising the capability.
  8. both lights will be green on the interface before the computer will see it... sounds like a problem between your interface and your guitar... try a different cable... just a standard cat5 network/ethernet cable
  9. just FYI in case anyone missed it: :D :D :D http://noisey.vice.com/blog/phish-has-been-a-band-for-thirty-years-now-and-they-have-sucked-the-whole-time?fb_action_ids=10102557006195972&fb_action_types=og.comments
  10. its not always presets... output mode... input settings... etc.... that and the DT's do use cab models... those are the places that trip people up most frequently.
  11. you have to hit connect to another device in monkey... and connect to the variax itself for updates.... keep in mind that everything is different in v2.+ so you'll be starting from scratch
  12. what software are you trying to use? there are quite a few pieces that you could be attempting to use. my pod farm 2.5x, monkey and drivers work... on yosemite. do a quick forum search for yosemite... there are some programs that interfere with it working.
  13. the YEAR of the guitarist..... NAMM is merely the start of the gear year. :)
  14. you need 2.0 from a cable perspective. technically the UX2 is backwards compatible with the usb 3.0 standard.... but the cables are not compatible. it's also preferential and less problematic to use a usb 2.0 port on your machine if one is available.
  15. no, the pod controls the volume. but if you're going out from the pod via spdif then you must be going into another interface... you could always plug the speakers into that interface and use the other interface as your primary... this may change things. you can still use the pod USB for editing etc.
  16. i believe it's a phase inverter... there are 2 in the DT50's the second one there is a boost.
  17. maybe he meant to say that windows xp/vista may not be supported any longer... as in that sort of "certain versions of windows" but mac support exists and works... no sweat.
  18. I plus 1'd it to even it out... someone else will need to plus it to give it your desired plus one.
  19. it does... not sure what you are responding to... but it is 100% mac+pc
  20. unless you buy pod farm separately all the licenses are tied to the device...
  21. just make the default recording input 3/4 since you don't appear to be using pod farm as a plugin... that's likely the ticket for the workflow you're seemingly going to use.
  22. your default recording device is 1/2 unprocessed/dry hence no processing without license/device. that can be your default... what you select as the input for each track is what really matters... processed/wet sound is input 3/4
  23. NAMM is in a matter of days.... how about giving them a chance to see what they announce when the rest of the industry is announcing things.... at this point, i don't think that's much to ask....
