I've deleted the Wah in the first path. Give it a try if you can open it now. It works for me. Test_Arch_XLR+PE.hlx Test_Sold_XLR+PE.hlx

Maybe you could post the preset you're trying to load so we can test and see if it works on other devices?

There is no difference if you load the patches into Helix or Helix LT. For me the problem was solved by installing the latest version of HX Edit.

Yeah I'm too - Maybe it's just a configuration thing. I'll try the pedal with the katana this weekend to see if it's there too.

Does your M-Audio have the range of 0-100%? I just got this pedal as a present with a used Katana 100 Amp and thought I'll give it a try with the Helix (not that I need it that much). But mine goes only form 16% -100% or If inverted from 0% to 84%.

Has the Katana 100 the option to just use it as power amp with the 4cm method. I mean that it only does the amplification without any modelling going on?

Yeah it would be good if they add some space betweeen the elements and a bit more colors. The new functions are coolt though

What are you trying to achieve? I let cubase change snapshots without problems. Btw. Firmware 5.53 is not out out yet ;-)

I will spend much more them trying them out for sure. I use reverbs mostly as sublte effect - most at the time it's more a feeling thing. I don't like to much reverb in my patches unless it's a special effect for a song. And I'm used to the old spring reverbs ;-) But whatever works ...

As was said before it is very subjective. Regarding Reverbs the Spring 63 is still my favorite - don't care in which category it is listed.

Just do the full backup before updating. Then make the update with full factory reset. Export the new factory setlists. Restore the full backup. Import the single factory setlists overwriting the old ones. Not a big deal IMO

I agree with that - just concentrate on great tone. There are so many tools and apps out there for metronome and drum stuff...

Are the Legacy Effects all new or have some of the existing Reverbs and Delays moved to the Legacy Category?

That's a nice update for sure. I'm pretty happy with Helix as it is now and everythig they add it's just another Sweetie. I must confess that I'm pretty happy with the old Reverbs, since I'm a bit old-school and love 63 Spring Reverb - but curious how the new ones sound.

There are some differences in the specs though. Also the Headrush has more power... so it could be an updated version

I've just read that Alto and Headrush are owned by the same company. So it could be that they took the same case design for a new box. It's pretty interessting at this price range and I'm curious how it sounds.
