HELPI did something wrong and can't figure out how to undo it

Sounds like you may have put it in snapshot mode, with 8 un-names shapshots. -
I use Mac without the driver and have had zero issues.

Don't use the Motu, and build your own presets to get the sound you truly like. Don't rely on factory presets.

You can also just re-load the original preset you got from custom tone to start over. -

If you have not saved the preset yet, just go to a different preset, and then come back to the one you were playing with. It goes back to the last saved state. -
Hopefully this forum does not turn into a garage sale.

I have saved a preset with the volume pedal block at 0 before, which resulted in no sound until I moved the volume pedal. Since then, I set my volume (EXP2) to global and not per preset so that it follows actual position on pedal no matter what preset I load.

Two different cabs, two different mics, two different early reflection settings gets you a fuller/different sound.

You can make the stomp a momentary switch instead of toggle. Then the delay just comes on when you have your foot on the switch, you'll just have to press it on the down beat. I think there is a panning delay as one of the models that pans with each delay return.
-
Did you have your preset backed up?
-
Do a backup, then a factory reset, then restore your presets. If it still behaves abnormally, it's probably a hardware issue, and you should start a support ticket.
-
Perfect, that's what I needed to know.

Throw in a generic effect model like simple EQ, make sure it is flat so it effectively doesn't do anything, assign it to your channel change foot switch, and your LED indicator should come on/off when you press it.

I guess I can run through VST in DAW, back to USB 3/4 to Helix. Not sure what latency will be like that though. If anyone is using one of these like this, please let me know.

Try: Path 1 > drives/pedals > split > 1A > amp 1> cab/IR 1> dry output 1B > volume pedal > route to path 2 Path 2 > amp 2 > wet effects > cab/IR 2 > wet output
-
Looks like drives, rack wah, eq, other pedals are in front of amp and TC/Boss rack effects are before the power amp and sent to a "wet" cabinet. You should be able to replicate something similar in Helix, and it should be much easier since it is all internal routing in the digital world.

Maybe try turning the level of the IR down with the looper placed after it and see what that does. What IR are you using? What is the level of the IR set at?

Anyone out there using the Fishman triple play MIDI system, wirelessly to PC/Mac, through their software, going to Helix over USB? I was wondering if you can configure their software to output audio through USB. I thought it might be cool to do that to USB 3/4 back to Helix with its own signal path to incorporate effects and blend with magnetic pickups.

The other one posted about the same issue, but it was a different amp model, Mesa MkIV I think. I wonder if they all do it with bass set at 0.
