  1. Are you recording a stereo track? Have you tried recording a left or right only track? Is it a balanced sound even if you pan one way 100% or is it only a slight sound in the opposite speaker?
  2. Mine does play up occasionally. Restarting the pc usually solves it, still on windows 7 and haven't updated since installation(that i know of). The drivers have been hit and miss on windows 10. Maybe try manually installing a few different drivers.
  3. Did you purchase pod farm or use the free license with the ux? Unplugging the ux may have invalidated your free license, you would need to leave it in but not selected as your interface for license manager to allow you to use it as licensed.
  4. You need to ask line6, they don't monitor this users forum. Open a support ticket and get a direct answer
  5. Not much point raging on a users forum, line6 don't monitor here. Open a support ticket if you want a direct response
  6. The ux1 doesn't supply phantom power like the ux2. Are you using a supply for the mic?
  7. https://line6.com/software/index.html Select guitar port them mac os x in the search panel.
  8. Havevyou tried the monitor function on the track that is armed? Could you download the backing track and import the audio into the DAW?
  9. I assume yousician is like most DAW's. You can leave all your pc sounds as is, if you want to. Just setting the in and outs on yousician to your gx. I do this with a pc thats connected to both a ux1 and the main tv. Its only used gor editing and the tv speakers playback everything else.
  10. If it is bundled, as long as your device is connected and license manager has authorized the device, it should still work, even if another device is selected by your daw
  11. You don't really need monkey, you can download anything you need from line6.com It is convenient, when it works, but not necessary
  12. Can always try the troubleshooting guide, theres usually a solution in there.
  13. Just pointing out the obvious, but have you tried reinstalling the drivers? I've had podfarm just crap out on me randomly, a driver reinstall sorted it out.
  14. Obsolete on Catolina. No plans to make a 64 bit version to be compatible. Either move back to an older version or podfarm 2, unfortunately. If you have to buy something, and you are happy with line6, i would try helix native. There will be plenty of support for it in future.
  15. I import the track into my DAW. Then play over it. I guess this isn't much good to you. Perhaps using a Daw you can set inputs 1 and 2 input for your guitar and channels 3 and 4 for line in?
  16. Have you selected the ux for your audio output in your computers settings?
  17. Sounds like you need to download and install the latest 64-bit version
  18. https://line6.com/support/announcement/98-macos-1015-catalina-compatibility/
  19. Download the advanced user guide from line6.com and you will find amp model and cabs and so on. No compiled list of the presets though. i don't recall ever coming across one
  20. Once you have your head around it, it's great. It took me a while to figure it out.
  21. Ok. You need to select your guitar or microphone input. Whichever you want to use. If you are using Podfarm stanalone, there is a drop down menu at the top where you select guitar or mic. If you aren't using standalone, you need to select it in your computers settings. What operating system do you use? Mac or pc? Have you set your ux2 as your soundcard for input and output? Perhaps head over to line6.com and download the basic user guide.
  22. Did you try manually downloading everything from line6.com? You dont need monkey, its just convenient. Its all on the downloads section at line6.com
  23. https://www.google.com/url?q=https://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DOIeJjy9Ruro&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwjnmq6Ow_7lAhW8SBUIHTuGC2sQtwIwAHoECAoQAQ&usg=AOvVaw0jHBT0sPugiYHBU4DskDIb This is a tutorial made by line6 to watch. It's all in there. Try this and if you haven't had any luck, come back with some specific details on whats wrong. Operating system and version is handy to know. One thing to note, is it a red ux2 or a black podstudio ux2? Be sure to select the correct model type ux2 it is when you input your serial number, which should be on a sticker on the back or underneath the unit, when you register your device to your account. This fooled me for a day! You can download everything from line6.com that you need, no discs are needed.
