  1. That's what so great about the Helix. You can insert any effect between the amp and the cab. The possibles are endless!
  2. It's amazing what you can find with a Google search. :) Helix Floor: https://line6.com/data/6/0a0643391bb055fca90096a38/application/pdf/Helix Cheat Sheet - English ( Rev A ).pdf Helix Family: https://line6.com/support/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=5954
  3. Answer to your first question: This is not possible. You can’t copy an existing preset into part of another preset. Answer to your second question: I don’t use snapshots that often, but I have noticed the same behavior when copying blocks from other presets into different snapshots on a new preset. I was actually trying to consolidate multiple preset amp block settings into one preset using different snapshots. I do believe you can change the block parameters in the snapshots, but copying individual blocks from other presets kept overwriting the settings on the other snapshots that I had saved previously. I tried this last night and actually raised this question on another thread today.
  4. You don’t need this driver for any recent macOS.
  5. If you're copying a lot of blocks it might be quicker to copy the entire preset to an empty spot and make your changes to the new one.
  6. I have noticed some weird issues like this using HX Edit with snapshot changes. Copied a bunch of amp blocks from other presets to consolidate them into eight different snapshots. Each time I saved the preset, all of the amp block settings would overwrite the same block on the other snapshots. In other words, the copy-n-paste into each snapshot were the same every time I saved the preset. I don't use them very often, but I thought this was odd behavior. Additionally I saved a bunch of presets with some new IRs that I had just purchased. Next time I powered my Helix on all of the IR blocks on a bunch of new presets defaulted back to the first IR. And I did save them all too. In fact, I was playing with the new presets on the Helix and everything was fine before the next power cycle. All of the IRs were still on the Helix too. Perhaps v.280 will address some of this.
  7. I have a 7CM configuration and XLR outs to my studio monitors - all running in stereo. You have to love the Helix hardware and routing options!
  8. That's exactly what I was thinking, but a local sync would be a great starting point. Settings up a a cloud-based storage system with an API accessible to the the Helix would be challenging and expensive; however, if there was a subscription-based model for this I would pay for it. That's the only way Line 6 would have an incentive to invest in the infrastructure. Perhaps I should throw this up on Ideascale!
  9. Thank you for the suggestion, but who wants to do a setlist export and import each time? Plus the IRs wouldn't match if there were changes to the IR order. It would nice if there was an automatic, local sync feature. I would setup an AppleScript to do this if HX Edit and Helix Native used XML configuration files.
  10. Reviving this old thread since HX Edit v2.80 is suppose to have some sort of ability to drag-n-drop presets or block between HX Edit and Helix Native. I know it's not out just yet; however, does anyone know if it will have the ability to sync presets and IRs between each other? Drag-n-drop is a nice addition, but I am constantly tweaking my patches and it would be great if I didn't have to manually copy one preset of block one at a time. Thanks!
  11. There are no pre-made templates for specific applications, but your Helix has some basic functionality in the TEMPLATES setlist with a preset with DAW in the name (my Helix is on turned on at the moment). I was able to use some of those settings to setup some stompbuttons to work with Logic Pro X to do REC, STOP, PLAY, etc. Hope this helps you.
  12. You're most certainly welcome! Please let me know if you ever tweak the settings since you just released them. They do sound awesome!
  13. Totally worth the $60. I am very happy with my purchase as this is EXACTLY what I was looking for. My absolute favorite amp!
  14. Our problems have been solved! I just purchased the amp pack and cab pack from ML Sound Lab and man do they sound good! https://ml-sound-lab.com/products/mars-silver https://ml-sound-lab.com/collections/amp-packs/products/mars-silver-helix
  15. Touche. I couldn't hold back any longer. :)
  16. And it was on Friday, October 19, 2018 that we as a community found the last possible way to complain about yet another update that was free of charge. In the IT that I work in you would typically have to pay for software maintenance to receive complimentary updates after a purchase. Please stop bitching and complaining. At the end of the day Line 6 is pushing this technology forward. Be grateful for what Line 6 has developed. It's not unfair for them to come up with additional revenue streams so that can continue developing the product. If you don't like it, you can always choose another product and complain to them.
  17. I would support paying for new amp models through the marketplace. That seems like an appropriate review stream / business model for Line 6 with free software updates. From someone in the IT industry, I think that's a good idea. Plus that would drive modeling development priority based on what we want as customers.
  18. Yes, I am using them both at once. I suppose you could could use just one amp at a time using the 7CM; however, your patches would need to point to the correct FX Loop. In other words, you'd have to have separate patches for each amp. Never tried it that way.
  19. 1. I run both amps in stereo using the 7CM. I use Path1 for Amp1 panned left and Path2 for Amp2 panned right. I use two Mini Jubilees now, but you can use whatever you have. 2. I basically have the same effects in both paths - one for each amp. I have FX Loop 1 on Path1 and FX Loop 2 on Path 2.
  20. You're welcome, man. That's what this community is all about.
  21. No issues at all. I am running Mojave 10.14.1 Developer Beta.
  22. You're welcome! Please post up some photos when you finish setting up your pedalboard!
  23. I own a Helix, not a Helix LT. If there is no vent hole on the Helix LT, then you are probably good to mount it how you wish.
  24. You can safely remove them completely for mounting on a pedalboard. I am in the process of putting my Helix, (2) Mission Engineering expression pedals, and Relay G70 wireless unit on a pedalboard. The screws attached to the rubber are only there to hold the rubber feet. They don't screw to any of the internal Helix components. Just a suggestion, but you should consider the vent holes on the bottom of the Helix when you choose a location to mount it. I would make sure air can still get into the vent.
