  1. No, it did not. To install an app properly, usually there's a script that has to be launched from Terminal. You can always drag the application to the trashcan; however, that doesn't clean up any of the libraries in the System folder, user libraries folders, or Application Support folders.
  2. I successfully upgraded my Helix Floor to 2.30 and installed the newest HX Edit application on my MacBook Pro running macOS High Sierra. I noticed that the older version is still installed. I thought the 2.30 version was a new backup/restore specific application. Simply dragging it from the Applications/Line 6 folder to the trash does not do a proper uninstall for most applications. Is there a script that can be launched from Terminal that does a proper uninstall? Thank you.
  3. Have you tried uninstalling the Helix Native a plug-in and reinstalling? What version of macOS and Logic Pro are you running?
  4. As a home player I went with Helix Floor just recently for the expandability and I’m very happy with my purchase. I also bought the Helix Native plug-in at a substantial discount because of it. The possibilities are endless - especially if you want to record at home.
  5. It happens. Glad you figured it out. In my field it's usually an error between the keyboard and the chair. :)
  6. Ddi you do the backup and restore steps that were mentioned in the instructions? I think there were additional steps required if you had any any version older than 2.20.
  7. I sincerely appreciate that feedback, Phil. Very helpful. Thanks!
  8. Thank you for answering my question. I just wanted to be sure. I was thinking about doing the same even if the functionality isn't there with the Helix Floor.
  9. Has anyone tried to do this with a Marshall 2525C combo amp? It comes with a foot channel switcher, but I would much rather use the Helix instead. Guess I need to give it a try and report back.
  10. I use the Helix Floor with my Marshall 2525C combo amp. It sounds great. I have't experimented with using the amp's effects loop with the Helix, but I honestly think it sounds great as it is. I'm very happy with my setup.
  11. Hello All, I am a fairly new Helix Floor and Helix Native owner and am wanting to purchase one or two Mission Engineering expression pedals for wah and other effects while using the built-in Helix expression pedal for volume. There appears to be two different models that are offered for Line 6 products (SP1-L6H and the EP1-L6). The only difference I can tell is the ability to use the toe switch to turn the effect(s) on and off. This is exactly what I am looking to do, but the SP1-L6H only seems to be fully-functional with the Helix Rack. The EP1-L6 appears to be for other Line 6 products without the toe switch feature. Since the SP1-L6H is designed specifically for the Helix, will I be able to use this pedal to turn wah on and off without having to dedicate the a stomp button on the Helix Floor itself? My assumption is no since there is not an expression pedal switch input on the Helix Floor. Just want to to confirm. I appreciate anyone's help. Thank you. Thanks, David
  12. Thank you so much for the prompt response. I sincerely appreciate it.
  13. Hello, I recently purchased a Helix Floor and Helix Native license and am just getting started with using them with my MacBook Pro. Although they are both overkill for my playing/recording needs, I was originally in the market for some high-end effects pedals an Apogee GiO guitar interface, so buying a Helix Floor seemed like a better move so I can take advantage of all of the effects in one portable unit (not to mention all of the other features). The Apogee GiO is an older floor-based guitar USB interface for Mac that has programmable effects stomp buttons along with transport control buttons. It's a plug-n-play device for Macs using Logic Pro X, MainStage, and GarageBand. I ultimately chose the Helix Floor and Helix Native so I could do all of that plus take it with me for use with my Marshall combo amp. I have played around with the Helix Floor and the Helix Native plug-in and I love the common interface and ease-of-use. I have watched several YouTube videos on how to create your own macro buttons so I can use the Helix Floor to Record/Stop/Play, etc.;however, most of what I have seen are running older versions of the software, so the menus are somewhat different. My hope is that someone has built a template that I can use similar to what Apogee offers for their GiO product (they offer pre-built, downloadable templates). I understand how the Helix Native plug-in works with the Apple Pro Audio apps; but I need some help setting my my Helix Floor for basic, home recording use. MacBook Pro running High Sierra (10.13.2 Developer Beta) LogicPro X (10.3.2) MainStage 3 (3.3.2) GarageBand (10.2.0) My needs are very basic as I am just playing around at home. I am running the latest builds of the audio apps and appreciate any advice or feedback you can provide. Thank you so much! David
  14. I was having the same trouble using the Line 6 Updater tool for macOS. I installed the Line 6 Updater for Windows on another computer and my Relay G70 updated without error. The Line 6 Updater for macOS updated my Helix just fine. It's clearly an issue with the Line 6 Updater for macOS and the Relay G70.
