  1. You have to buy it through the Line 6 Store on the website here, not through the Apple App or Google Play stores. There should be a field where you enter the promo code when you checkout.
  2. There should be some polyphonic stuff coming in 3.0. I don't know that they're looking to use it for the tuner, though.
  3. Probably sometime within the next week or so, but it might be impacted by the current geopolitical situation.
  4. That means there isn't enough DSP left on the processor path you're on to load that effect (one processor serves Paths 1A and 2A, and the other serves path 2A and 2B). If you're on Path 1, you can access Path 2 by changing the Output Block for Path 1 to go to Path 2A.
  5. Mine is working fine with the new update. It's probably more likely that the update revealed a flaw or defect in your hardware that the old firmware didn't see. It may have to do with tighter limits on what happens with the charging and discharging of the unit - I'm not sure. But, anyway, I'm sure they are not going to keep the old firmware available to the public when they are asking people to update to the new for safety reasons. If you are having issues, the best thing to do is to contact Line 6 by means of a support ticket. They will take care of things. https://line6.com/support/tickets/add.html
  6. Open up a support ticket. https://line6.com/support/tickets/add.html
  7. What type of external footswitch are you using? It needs to be a momentary type, not latching, in order for the long press to work properly.
  8. Yeah, as mentioned above, you can do it with Instant Commands, but not with a single footswitch. Do you have the Mobius in the FX Loop? If so, doing it with Instant Commands is a lot less clunky anyway, as you can just leave the Mobius on all the time and control whether it effects your preset by turning the FX Loop on and off with snapshot changes. You can also change presets on the Mobius with each snapshot if you want, too.
  9. Snapshots isn’t an option as a bypass assignment. The bypass states of blocks will be recalled by snapshots when you load them, but that happens automatically (there is the Snapshot Bypass parameter now that allows you to disable this behavior - the bypass state of blocks where you have this unchecked will remain unaffected by snapshots changes). I think you were confusing controller assign with bypass assign in your first post.
  10. The L6 Link cable is just an AES/EBU cable, so you don't need the actual L6 Link cable that Line 6 sells. Any AES/EBU cable will work. A regular XLR cable will work in a pinch, but a mic cable is designed to pass digital information like an AES/EBU cable is. Over longer distances, a mic cable can have more interference and less data integrity, so the best bet is to use an AES/EBU cable.
  11. The USB charging cable in the recall is not the cable that comes with the unit. It was an accessory that was sold separately for $15. See the image below:
  12. If your unit was registered with Line 6, you should have gotten an email. I've received several about it. Actually, I think they may have sent it out to the whole mailing list. Also, Line 6 blasted this all over their social media sites as soon as the recall notice went live (actually a little before). Realize that the official recall didn't start until this past week. The notice that went out to retailers was not a recall notice. It was a stop sale notice while Line 6 was having an independent lab do an investigation. Basically, I think they were verifying reports. Like or not, there are people in the world who do make false reports on stuff like this for potential financial gain, so the responsible thing is to take the reports seriously, but to make sure they are justified and then take the proper action.
  13. Try wiggling the micro USB connection slightly. I found mine to be quite sensitive. Beyond that, try a different cable, if possible, or a different USB port.
  14. Maybe try flashing that base again? Not much else to try, really.
  15. Did you update both the receiver and the transmitter?
  16. Some of the factory presets are from some of the people who make and sell presets. I don’t know for sure if those guys have some included or not, but it wouldn’t surprise me. How many presets is it?
  17. Your best bet is to open a support ticket if you want to get a response from Line 6. Some Line 6 employees post on the forums sporadically, but these are user forums. They're not really a customer support venue for Line 6.
  18. Did you create a backup prior to updating? If so, the best thing to do is to do power down your Helix and do factory reset by holding down FS9 & FS10 while powering up your Helix. This will clear out all of the presets, global settings (those were reset anyway with the update) and IRs. Then once it restarts, connect to HX Edit and go to File>Restore from Backup and select your backup.
  19. I believe if you right click on the icon for the installation package wherever you have it saved, you can click "open", and then you should be shown a dialog box where you can choose run. You may have to enter your Mac password in order for it go through.
  20. Updater should work on Catalina according to this: When you say it won't install, what exactly is happening? I'd recommend opening up a support ticket if you continue to have problems.
  21. Yeah, you can remove those assignments and use those footswitches for whatever you want.
  22. https://line6.com/g10recall/ Please note that even though the link is labeled "recall", the recall only applies to the USB charging cable, which is an accessory that's sold separately from the systems themselves , not the G10 hardware itself. There are firmware update instructions for the transmitter in the link.
  23. The easiest thing would be to overwrite that preset with a blank one.
