  1. You can perform a factory reset by holding down FS2 & FS3 while powering up. That will get everything back in order. Make sure to export any presets you may have created to your computer prior to doing the factory reset.
  2. Is it running the latest firmware? Even it is, I would try re-installing it if you haven't.

    POD Go FAQ

I don't think that will be an option, at least not at launch. The POD Go has four fewer footswitches than the Helix and Helix LT, so it would make those mixed modes less useful overall, imo. To have two presets on one row and two stomps in another might not be all that helpful.
  4. POD Farm won't act like an editor for the X3, no. The editor for the X3 was/is called Gearbox. It's still available for download, but you'll need to choose "all OS" from the last pulldown menu to find it. https://line6.com/software/
  5. Did you see the posts right before yours? It looks like Apple has taken care of the issue in the current iOS beta build, so it should be available in the official release whenever that's released. Line 6 has said all along that Apple broke this functionality, so it looks like they were correct.

    POD Go FAQ

Meh... It's not that big of a deal, imo. If it's a deal-breaker for you, then it is. It's not changing at this point. People have been plugging into DI boxes with modelers for years now. Even the little crappy Mexican restaurant I used to play at had a few DI boxes. Even places with minimal PAs have them because it's what people playing acoustic guitars typically use. Or you can get a couple TRS to XLR adapters and go that route if you want an actual balanced connection.
  7. The POD Go will be a 4X4 USB audio interface. The Stomp is 8X8. In practice, it probably won't make much difference to the vast majority of users.

    POD Go FAQ

You could use an adapter like that, but I suspect most people will just plug into a direct box. I've really never been to a venue that didn't have at least a few DIs sitting around.
  9. Well, the color of the block in the little signal flow on the top part of the screen does change in Play View. It's small enough, though, that it's probably not all that helpful.
  10. I believe this bug was one of the ones they covered when they released the 2.82 firmware. I've not really read any other reports of it with the 2.82 update, and given the nature of it, I imagine it would be everywhere now - especially since 2.82 has been out for almost six months now. Did you do perform a factory reset after updating?

    POD Go FAQ

Dimensions/weight? Is it smaller than POD HD500X? 14.1”w x 9.1”d x 3.5”h; 5.2lbs It’s way smaller and lighter than POD HD500X. Fits inside pretty much any backpack or carry-on.
  12. The Stomp has no way to power an LED through that jack, so you'd need a footswitch with its own power supply. The Boss FS-6 or FS-7 would do that. The main potential issue with that is that if you change presets or snapshots while the footswitch's LED is lit, it would be easy for things to get misaligned.
  13. You can assign MIDI CCs to presets in the FCB4N2, so it's possible. It's just that the way that particular controller works is a little clunky. It doesn't have different modes. You're always switching between presets. How would you like to use it?
  14. The short answer is no, it isn't possible. The longer answer is it might be possible, as I have seen some people do some reverse engineering and make a breakout box that converts the signal from a Line 6 FBV controller to MIDI (don't know that I've ever seen someone do it the other way, though). For all intents and purposes, the Spider V amps don't support MIDI in any way.
  15. The best way to contact Line 6 is with a support ticket: https://line6.com/support/tickets/add.html You can try calling their main number, but you may have to wait awhile to get through. What exactly is the issue your having?
  16. What are you using as a controller for your virtual instruments?
  17. "On par" is kind of an odd measure... Do I expect the reverbs from an multi-FX to meet the complexity of something a dedicated reverb plug-in can give you? Not really. All these hardware devices are bound by processing limitations that don't exist with plug-ins. But yet most of them are close enough for most people. As far as using the FX loops, they don't necessarily add 3.5ms of latency. Going in and out of a Helix loops will add like 1.8ms, and if the pedal converts the dry signal, that will add more, but many digital delay and reverb pedals (like the Strymon BigSky) have an analog dry path, so there isn't really any additional latency to worry about. So I don't know... If that extra 1.8ms of latency is a deal-breaker for you than it is, but I suspect most people won't care. I know not every digital effect has that dry path - the Eventide H9, doesn't. But then again, if you're using a dense, lush reverb, you're probably even more unlikely to notice a little extra latency. Everything in any design a compromise in one way or another, and the perfect piece of gear doesn't exist. It's just finding something that works for you. I think things keep on getting better as far as what's available to the average player, though.
  18. I ended up going the other way. I had my Helix mounted on a Pedaltrain Pro board along with a few other pedals, but it just got to be a big and heavy board. So I decided to get a Helix Rack and go with this setup.
  19. What did the repair center say they fixed on your unit?
  20. If you want to select a specific preset, you'd send the PC associated with that preset.
  21. Are you using Speaker Mode in the Powercab? Do you have the Level parameter in the Powercab preset turned up? If I recall, they're all set to something like -12dB by default. The other thing I'd say is that you can add level to your Helix presets by increasing the Level parameter in the Output Block. A dual PC+ setup should be quite loud.

Those earlier dates are wrong. The first shipment is scheduled to go out in April. That is the official statement from Line 6, and it always has been. If anything, the original date may slip slightly depending if there are any complications with the whole Coronavirus thing.
  23. What's happening in the video seems more related to the fact that they're compressors. I've seen other people describe this sort of thing, where the compressors kind of ramp up when they're activated. A good way to test it would be to see what happens when you do something similar with to overdrive blocks.
  24. There shouldn't be any latency, no. I guess my question would be what all are you changing with that footswitch. There are some effects where the audio may need to "catch up" the new settings, in a sense. You mentioned changing compressor settings in your first post. Sometimes doing that can cause a difference in how the compressor is reacting, so it may be you're feeling a different because the compressor is kicking in differently.
  25. This is the intended functionality. The values of any parameters you have assigned to any controller are recalled with snapshot changes. You can override the functionality with parameters assigned to one of the expression pedals by setting the EXP Position parameter in the Global Settings menu to Per Preset or Global, but there is no override for footswitches. What it means, though, is it gives you a lot of flexibility to set the values for those parameters to whatever you want in each snapshot. From page 34 of the manual:
