  1. How long is it lasting? I’m definitely getting very close to six hours with two of my three transmitters (the two newest ones).
  2. This is just an OS X thing. It's a new process that Apple has implemented as far as getting software certified, and there was some sort of deadline that passed... It doesn't really mean anything. You can override it. You have to go to where the file is saved, right click on the icon, and select Open and confirm that you want to run it. You may have to enter your Mac password. But it will still work.
  3. Well, if his battery was at diminished capacity, the new unit will give him the full six hours.
  4. What exactly do you mean when you say you can’t download the drivers? You can’t find them, the download simply isn’t working, or something else?
  5. I didn’t try your presets. I didn’t have to. It’s a phenomenon that happens with guitar amps and modelers. The technical term for it is intermodulation distortion. Cliff Chase from Fractal gives a good explanation of it here: https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?posts/30105388/
  6. You need to open a support ticket: https://line6.com/support/tickets/add.html
  7. You want either the PX-2 or PX-2g (the PX-2g has a higher capacity, but the original PX-2 will work, too). You can buy directly from Line 6 when they reopen they're shop again. https://shop.line6.com/accessories/power-supplies-and-batteries/px-2g-ac-power-supply.html You can probably find third party supplies. You need 9V AC, 1200mA with a 2.5mm x 5.5mm plug.
  8. As stated above, you're only using one of the two processors. Paths 1A and 1B are served by one processor, and Paths 2A and 2B are served by another. You could do this a few ways, the most straightforward would be to have the output of Path 1A go to Path 2A and the output of Path 1B go to Path 2B. Then you can merge those two paths together. You could put both amp blocks on Path 1A and 1B respectively and then put the two IRs in 2A and 2B respectively.
  9. What product are you talking about?
  10. How old is the G10? As far as the OS thing, I mean, all operating systems become obsolete at some point. When the companies that publish the OS stop supporting it, there's not much else third parties can do.
  11. Those are ghost notes. They happen in the real amps, and can’t really be modeled away. If you search for “Vox AC30 ghost notes” on Google, you’ll find dozens, maybe hundreds of links to articles and threads on different forums about it.
  12. To be clear, they didn’t port any models from the HD to the Helix. They modeled the same amps for the Helix in the beginning, but they didn’t port the HD models into the Helix. Actually, for some of the HD, specifically the ones that were added in the HD model packs, they ported Helix models into the HD.
  13. The values of all parameters assigned to any controllers are recalled with snapshots. I imagine what you’re seeing is related to the EXP# Position parameters under Global Settings>EXP Pedals. They need to be set to Per Snapshot in order for the values of the parameters they’re controlling to be recalled when you load a snapshot. Otherwise, the position of the expression pedal will overload the specific setting you have saved with each snapshot.
  14. Yes, the ASIO driver is the driver for the Helix hardware. It won’t do anything if you have the Helix turned off. HX Edit is simply an editor. It had no audio functionality. I mean, you can select a different interface to playback and mix in Cubase if you want, but the way you’re describing it, it doesn’t sound like you have one.
  15. Just tighten the bolt with the hex key that was included with Helix.
  16. No, they're both still there. Just leave the first menu set at "All Hardware" and change the third menu to "All OS". Select Gearbox or Line 6 Edit in the middle, and it will come up. Normally the page automatically detects your OS, and changes the third menu automatically. Since neither Gearbox nor Line 6 Edit have been updated in quite a long time, they won't show up for a newer OS.
  17. I know people have edited those text files to change those parameters, but one thing I’ve always wondered about that, especially in regards to the EQ, is if the actual effect is changing. It may be just be that you’re only really changing the label and not anything in the underlying effect.
  18. One thing to remember is that HX Edit is better thought of as a remote control rather than a traditional editor program. When you import something into HX Edit, you're really importing it into the Helix. When you export something from HX Edit, you're exporting it from the Helix to the outside world (the outside world being your computer's file system).
  19. Yep. The easiest way is just drag and drop them from HX Edit in Helix Native. Beyond that, you can simply export them from HX Edit and import them into Native.
  20. The X3 Live isn’t a class compliant USB interface (it needs a specific driver to work correctly), so its USB audio won’t work with your iPad.
  21. Make sure you have MIDI clock TX turned off on the Stomp if you have it set up to receive MIDI clock over USB. It’s easy to get a MIDI feedback loop with MIDI over USB.
  22. That would be pretty cool. The 240 is stereo, so it might be possible. I'm not sure how the cab modeling is handled as far as the stereo spread goes. You should post it up to Ideascale. https://line6.ideascale.com/
  23. I don’t really understand your comparison of the EQ block to the IR block. They’re two different things, and they work very differently. They just don’t the available frequencies broken up to that precision in the EQ blocks. Even with the narrowest Q setting, there’s hardly going to be any audible difference between selecting 1100 and 1120 Hz.
  24. Your best bet would be to open up a support ticket. Is there some reason you actually need to use Monkey for your X3 Pro at the moment? Or are you saying License Manager isn't working as well? I'm just confused as to what you'd actually need Monkey for when it comes to the X3 Pro at present.
  25. The POD XT first came out in 2002... You're still holding a grudge over a product that's 18 years old?
