Have you tried a different USB cable and port? What OS do you have?
-
What device do you have? What happens when you run Monkey?
-
My guess would be the tempo set by the tap
-
(new thread) +1 toneman2121 bumping old threads usually will not render much help If you run the Line6 Monkey can it see it? Is this a new purchase with this problem or was it working previously?

air pressures caused by vibrations of varying frequencies and amplitudes make absolutely no sound until a sentient being perceives them.

The HD600 will not have wormholes, it will be holographic renderings of wormholes, so basically they are just going to model the wormholes.
-
Their may be latency from streamed audio, but it should still be playable since you would be playing along with what you hear.

Cant Register My Toneport Kb37
Triryche replied to ftperalta1's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
Please submit a support ticket. http://line6.com/support/tickets/ If this is a Toneport I'm guessing it is 2nd hand and the original did not unregister it. -
I am pretty curious what setting the tone matching will come up with. Surely will be a disappointment to many players expecting their guitar and chops to sound like x,y, and z. I remember late 80's early 90's there was a multi-effect pedal board (can't remember which one) that came with a reference card for many bands and you would punch in the code and it called up a preset. The concept was pretty cool, but the results were usually a bit hokey.

Little more Pro typically translates to something I can't afford ATM. :( If there is an Andriod app by the end of the year I'm certain there are specialty sites where you can upload your vid

Did Line6 over hype this? IMHO they sure did. Do I want one? Won't know until I hear it. But if it sounds good for the price, I wouldn't mind buying one (even without iOS functionality) for quick practices or when buddies stop buy. I have I bit of OCD and am not always comfortable firing up my studio monitors for "guest guitarists". As for tone matching never really been a fan of presets, but might be helpful for people that want something quick and easy to get them in the ballpark. I'm sure it's been mentioned more than once, but I could see this being a successful product group with hopefully expansion into higher end offerings.

Toneport Gx Not Working Well With Mavericks?
Triryche replied to luqmanhakim's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
This is a user forum that Line6 rarely monitors. For technical support I would submit I ticket. If it is a bug related solely to Line6 drivers, the more tickets submitted the more info they will have to go on. For the record the Mavericks driver problems are not limited to Line6 devices. And there are plenty of users using Mavericks with UX2 with no issues. -
To me it's a bit vague. @~6 min he says - Andriod owners watch this space, hopefully later this year, then Paul seems to agree with the speculation of later this year. I would suggest going here and pile on the Andriod request @ IdeaScale, Line6 monitors this site, not so much these forums. http://line6.ideascale.com/a/ideafactory.do?id=23508&mode=hot&discussionFilter=active

Can Not Get Edit To Down Load
Triryche replied to richter269's topic in POD 2.0, POD XT, Pocket POD, FloorPODs
You have Green ticks for everything in Monkey? Also, you should use Gearbox as the editor. -
It could also be nice for a serious musician to have in another room other than the studio!! obviously not their target audience.
-
The latest Gearbox is currently 3.72. The other editor would be Line6 Edit.
-
I bet that is the case. :facepalm

Just for clarification if you run the Monkey it sees the UX and has green ticks? -
Zap, Have you tried POD Farm with it?

Ux2 - No Output Sound
Triryche replied to domosk's topic in Computer Audio Setup and Troubleshooting
No, by green ticks I mean check marks in Monkey. If you run Line6 Monkey, it should see the UX and give you green ticks for PF, Drivers, Firmware, ect. You can download the newest Monkey here http://line6.com/software/ A powered USB hub is a USB hub that has an adapter that plugs into your hour house current and provides the hub with supplementary USB power. The thing with laptops is they are designed to conserve as much battery power as possible. So the standard power provided by a USB port on a well equipped desktop is typically far superior than a laptop our netbook. I am just reminded of another thing to try. Does having your netbook plugged in make any difference? I agree there is a warmth that analogue gear captures, and that is what digital modeling tries to emulate. So if you are using the 4-track, how are you capturing the sound? mic's? I used to record on a Yamaha 4 track. I would plug guitars, bass, and/or mic directly to it, or with pedals or a mic preamp. Can't count the times I tried to bounce a killer track to stereo or bounce a double track to one, all the while losing fidelity with each bounce. All the while I was saving up for a digital "Studio in a Box" system. But I knew that pc's were going to close the gap on the capabilities. My first DAW was Sony Acid, and I never looked back!! I was doing ok with clean guitars, but had issues with trying to capture hi-gain, thus enter the PODxt bean The. I was effortless capturing what sounded like an amp cranked to 11 without disturbing anybody directly into a virtual unlimited tack recorder!! Basically most of the popular DAW's have unlimited trax (for all intents and purposes) with no lose of fidelity during manipulation (or bouncing if needed). I hope you get it sorted out. Because the difference between recording on a 4 track compared to a DAW with POD Farm will (IMHO) change your perspective. -
Ux2 - No Output Sound
Triryche replied to domosk's topic in Computer Audio Setup and Troubleshooting
Just for the record your headphones are connect directly to the UX? And Monkey gives you green ticks? If you headphones are connected directly to the UX and the computer sounds playback fine, that eliminates the headphone out as the issue. If it were me I would try this on another pc, preferably a desktop, just to see if it is the UX. The drivers for the UX sometimes just do not work properly with some USB chipsets. Also, sometimes the power from USB is not enough to run the UX properly. If this is the case, sometimes a powered USB hub may solve the problem. A nice thing about recording to a DAW with a UX is you can capture both the wet and dry signals simultaneously, then add the POD Farm plug-in to the dry track post processing. It's a pretty slick work flow. Technically Reaper is now ~ $60, but some people keep using the free 30 day trial. It has a nag screen that counts down how many days you have be evaluating it. But for the power Reaper has, $60 is a no brainer. Not sure how much it is, but I have heard good things about Mixcraft from another forum member Zap, especially concerning how intuitive it is. -
Using A Pod Studio Ux2 As A Live Amplifier?
Triryche replied to Axemasta's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
Yes you can do this, but you are obviously relying on the computer and software to process your sound. With devices like the Floor Pod, xt, X3 or HD series you take the computer out of the equation. You can connect just about any momentary foot switch or sustain pedal to the UX2. -
+1 to Zap. Also, if per chance it is a PODxt Live, you also may need the FX Junkie add-on. Typically a PF license plug-in license gives you all the standard models plus the add-on you purchased, not hardware enabled ones, which the Power Pack technically is for the xt series (as is FX Junkie for xt Live). FWIW, way back when, I purchased all the add-ons except the Power Pack (because it came with a firmware update for the xt. Then when I purchased the Gearbox plug-in (now POD Farm), I had access to the Power Pack without the xt connect, not sure how that all pans out now.
