  1. You might need to check how your are adding the plug-in, if there is any other routing in Cubase, and also the level of the track you are feeding the plug-in.
  2. Just for clarification, the monitors are connected directly to the analog outs of the UX?
  3. In that situation, you my need a separate headphone amp with a set of closed headphones. Have you tried just using an amp model with no other effects?
  4. download newest Monkey here http://line6.com/software/ Run the Monkey to update eveything. Some user are currently having issues with Mavericks. Check out this link for a possible work around if you have crackling or popping issues. Seems like this may be a Mac issue with their Fusion drives. https://discussions....772261#23772261
  5. Not sure how "loud" they will sound on a PP, but for the price the work fine for my MP3 players and Wii U controller. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000IG66VS/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  6. First make sure you have the most recent Mavericks OS, their were updates that solved some issues. Also make sure most recent Money has green ticks. Then check out this link for a possible work around. Seems like this may be a Mac issue with their Fusion drives. https://discussions.apple.com/message/23772261#23772261 Please post results if you try this.
  7. ASIO is for PC, Core Audio is for Mac's. Check out this link for a possible work around. Seems like this may be a Mac issue with their Fusion drives. https://discussions.apple.com/message/23772261#23772261 Please post results if you try this.
  8. If you are using the KB37 as your pc's audio interface, it becomes your pc's soundcard, so all your pc's sounds will be routed to the KB37's analog's out. Are you trying to record the KB37 via USB into a DAW, or are you trying to record from the desk?
  9. Not sure where thew short cut the Line6 Audio-MIDI devices is in Win8, maybe under apps? But there should be a Line6 folder. In POD Farm there should be a Dual button towards the top.
  10. Have you tried to configure this in the Line6 Audio-MIDI devices control panel (no POD Farm)? Also, if you are using POD Farm, make sure you are in a dual tone mode, you should then be able to select mic for Tone A and instrument for Tone B.
  11. +1 to BigChas52 Since you are using Gearbox I'm guessing this is an older red faced Toneport and not a black faced Pod Studio? If it is an older Toneport you should try using POD Farm 1.12 instead of Gearbox, it replaces Gearbox for the the Toneports. If it is a black faced POD Studio, it is likely bundled with POD Farm 2.
  12. I DI box might help, but you will likely not get your AMP's sound without mic-ing it.
  13. Just ot eliminate something simple, if you run the newest Monkey you have green ticks? Is there another pc you can try it on? If it works fine on another pc, it just may be your laptop isn't supplying enough or consistent power to the USB ports. If that is the case a powered USB hub may help, even though it is recommended not to connect to a hub
  14. What kind of computer do you have? It sounds like it could possible be an under powered computer/port.
  15. Is your adapter TRS (tip ring sleeve)? If you playback something recorded in reason through you pc's soundcard, is it low and fuzzy/buzzY? Do the analog outs have the same issue? I'm assuming you pulled the adapter of and made sure it went back on securely.
  16. Download newest Monkey, can it see it? http://line6.com/software/ Also, you will need Line6 Edit.
  17. +1 to fflbrgst Have you run the Monkey for all the drivers and updates? Newest version can be dl here: http://line6.com/software/ Also make sure you are selecting "mic" as your input in the Line6 Audio-MIDI control panel or in POD Farm.
  18. Have you tried plugging your guitar into the UX1 instrument input and plug your amp or other powered speakers or headphones into the UX? If you goal is to record, the results will be much better. You can capture wet and dry in your DAW then reamp the dry with the POD Farm plug-in post processing. It is a workflow many use, and IMHO an awesome thing.
  19. Is the light stayingg on steady at all times? If so, I would try reflashing it with Monkey. Also confirm Monkey has green ticks for everything.
  20. If you are using the X3 as your interface, you should connect you monitoring solution directly to the X3 (or Bean), it becomes your soundcard.
  21. I think you nailed it with number one on your list. Unfortunately not all MIDI to USB cables are created equal.
  22. Have you tried running the newest version of Monkey? http://line6.com/software/ First step is to see if Monkey can see it.
  23. +1 to BigChase. But it is more than just wires to convert MIDI to USB. Lot's of the cheap midi to USB cables rely on stock Window's drivers or may not have as robust drivers, where as M-Audio makes pretty robust products (IMHO).
