AJ30, what phone are you using? If it is an Android device what OS? Another thing to try is re-flashing the Firmware with the PC Utility. You can get the drivers and Utility from the downloads page.

You should not use speaker cables to connect your POD to anything, they are not shielded and meant to run from a power amp to a cabinet/passive monitors. Selecting same or Variax can affect the overall signal coming in, whether or not it affects the output (besides overall level and behavior of the modeling) depends on your signal chain.

This is a trick question!! Everything is digital, we are a simulation in a computer program. Unless of course the computer running this sim is running on tubes - then every thing is analog. :mellow:

Are you saying you previously had Rocksmith and the UX working together? If you run the newest Version of Monkey you have green ticks for everything?

I don't think it is uncommon for there to be variances in the output strength of the piezo pickups. In case you don't already know, you can also adjust the string volume globally.

The AMPLIFi will not send the Aux Input to the USB stream for recording. But if you are using the POD HD 500, I would use that to record. With the 500 plugged into the Aux in, the AMPLIFi is only serving as a monitor.

That may be your issue!! LOL!! Just trying to help, hard to gauge the technical level of users thru posts or know how they have things connected. Sometimes it's just something simple overlooked. Many new users new to digital recording mistakenly hook up their monitors or headphones to the computer instead of their USB Audio Interface.

How are you monitoring the UX? Are you enable all 4 inputs in your DAW? FWIW, as soon as you open POD Farm, it overrides any settings from the Line6 Audio-MIDI control panel.

Also, I would suggest using the UX as your soundcard when mixing/monitoring.

Yeah, it's a PITA, a work around is to update with an iOS 7 or 8 device.
