Simple test - next time you remove strings, grab the string binding post on the Korean JTV-69 locking Tuner and twist it back and forth, there exists 5 to 7 degrees of loose backlash. No Backlash on the Hipshot = more stability and ability to return to pitch during / after heavy whammy bar use

Yes there is patch to patch change latency on Firehawk ( and its longer than the HD500X ) the "patch change lag" is a result of loading new data in the Firehawk's singular DSP for each patch But if you have access to a Roland GR-55 - audition it for its patch change delay latency Know that the Line-6 Firehawk FX switches patches at least twice as fast as the GR-55.

Try recalibrating the Expression pedal Toe Switch, or insert a small piece of wood under the expression pedal to restrict its travel so it never hits the toe switch . Use a stack of Post -it notes and peel off sheets until the "shim" is just right
