As mentioned you can also assign the Wah bypass to a footswitch and turn it on/off manually in Stomp mode independently from snapshots. If you do this you will probably also want to set the Snapshot Edits parameter to Discard.
-
Yes for your purposes. You could have it on in multiple snapshots if you wish. But you’ve got the idea.
-
Try removing the Wah block bypass assignment from the pedal position. Then the snapshot bypass should work normally. You can reassign the Wah bypass to a footswitch if you want.

UX2 - Pod Farm: moving from windows 7 to 10
silverhead replied to Gil72's topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePort
You won’t need to download and install anything else. Both UX2 and POD Farm 2.5 are listed as being compatible with Win10 so you should be OK. -
Try using the recent Line 6 Central utility for updating, rather than POD Go Edit. While Edit should still work you might get better or more informative results by using Central. Also, log in to your Line 6 account. Is it possible that you are already running firmware v2.0 and hence there are no updates available?

Yes, a full Restore from Backup should have restored all Global Settings, except it may also have turned OFF the Global EQ. Try turning it back on.
-
A firmware update restores all Global Settings to factory defaults. You can restore them (and only them if you want) from your backup file.

Not sure I understand fully but it seems to me that you want to avoid unexpected volume level changes after switching presets, and you solution would be to add the described feature. Seems you want to be able to set the volume to zero on each preset change and then use the action of placing the pedal in the heel position to re-engage the volume control. So you are planning to rock the volume pedal to zero after every preset change and then reset it every time to where you want? If that's your preferred way of doing things you can already do this. Simply set Global Settings -> Switches/Pedals -> EXP 1/2 position parameters to Global. Then rock the pedal to the heel position before, not after, every preset change, and that will ensure that the volume always tracks the pedal position and will always start at zero since that's where you've positioned the pedal. Or perhaps I misunderstand your intention....

Have you tried the 4-Cable Method setup described on pg9 of the POD Go manual? There are lots of threads here describing the 4CM a and its usage.

3.71 update -> 'Page right' button stopped working HX
silverhead replied to Thienpont's topic in Helix
I'm no electrician but it seems to me that if the power supply is failing it could be delivering an inconsistent voltage which causes interruptions in the performance of the Helix device. -

If you reach the point when you want to investigate that behaviour I would start by testing the power supply that came with the device. -
See the New Effects section in the release notes

Try moving the expression pedal. The internal setting can be different from the physical position. The pedal can physically be at 100% while the internal setting is 0%. WARNING! Lower the volume before you move the expression pedal.

The Korean made JTV guitars are no longer being manufactured but the US models are still listed on the Products page (see top of this page). That suggests to me that you could order one at your local Line 6 retailer. Yes… very expensive, especially with shipping to Europe. Otherwise you need to look at your local used market.

It should only take a few milliseconds for any preset to load, so that’s not the issue. Are you talking about Factory presets? If not, where did the silent presets originate? Check the settings for the Input and Output blocks in the silent presets and make sure they match the physical input and outputs you are using. You could also try using headphones; are they silent there as well?
-
What Line 6 product are you using? I expect that it’s a Helix of some type since you reference v3.7 which is a recent Helix update. To install the new factory presets again you can perform a factory reset. Then Restore your pre-update backup, but select NOT to restore the Factory Setlist(s). A more detailed answer to your question will depend on the product. Please let us know.

Connection to macOS Monterey
silverhead replied to fedemallo's topic in Computer Audio Setup and Troubleshooting
I suggest you open a support ticket. Follow the Support tab at the top of this page. Same for the previous posters if you’re still around. -
Just to confirm …. Using my Helix Rack device as the audio interface I record both a wet and dry signal, using USB 1&2 for the wet recording and USB 7 (or 8) for the dry recording. I then import the preset I used for the wet signal into Helix Native and apply it to the recorded dry signal. I cannot hear any difference between the HN-processed dry track and the wet track. The difference you hear is due to your setup, as explained above.

[SOLVED] Can an effects block mute the signal when bypassed?
silverhead replied to joanesinu's topic in Helix
Since you are using a parallel path there is a split block. Using a Split A/B block you can entirely block the signal to one path or the other under different circumstances. You could assign that parameter to the Snapshot controller and assign the bypass of other blocks in the parallel path to the same Snapshot. Set up your snapshots accordingly.
