  1. Connect the Pod Go's Main Outputs to the PA/mixer inputs. Use only the L/MONO output unless you want to send a stereo signal. I presume this will replace any bass amp that you are using and that you will be monitoring yourself through the PA. If you need a separate amp/monitor for yourself connect the Pod Go Amp Out to that. Check the Pod Go manual page that shows the rear panel hardware jacks and read the descriptions for Main Out and Amp Out.
  2. What version of the Line 6 driver are you using? The most recent version for Windows 11 is v4.2.7.7
  3. That's very odd. You should not need to press the Snapshot footswitch twice to activate the selected snapshot, assuming that your footswitches and display are set up properly. Check your Global Settings -> Footswitches and examine / experiment with the options. You want the scribble strips on the display to show Snapshot names associated with the footswitch. Also check that snapshot selection is working in HX Edit.
  4. Try using different USB ports. Does your new laptop have any USB 2.0 ports? That’s what the Toneport driver was designed to work with.
  5. You only push the knob once, to assign the controller. After that you just turn the knob to change the model.
  6. Your Mac’s audio volume control should still work. It should still control the volume level sent from the CPU to the audio card, whether that is your internal soundcard or the Helix. (at least that the way it works in the land of Windows. I’m not a Mac guy). You will find it in Preferences or Settings on your Mac. Experiment with setting the Helix volume level and the Mac volume level independently. You should soon find the combined settings that work for you in various contexts.
  7. Here’s the simplest way to assign the Snapshot controller to any block parameter (from the manual): “Push-turn … knobs to assign their parameters to the Snapshots controller automatically. The parameter’s values appear white and in brackets to indicate it is assigned.” In your case, navigate to the Variax Model parameter in the Input block. Push/turn the knob. Save the preset. Visit each Snapshot and select the Variax model you want for that Snapshot. Save the preset after each assignment.
  8. No, the Snapshot controller is something you assign manually to any parameter of any FX block that you want to control by using Snapshots and their footswitches. It’s similar to assigning an EXP pedal to control the Vol or Wah FX. Rather than me attempting to reproduce the concept and operations here, I suggest you read the Snapshots chapter in the manual.
  9. Yes, you can do that. The Input block of a preset includes the Variax settings. Assign the Variax Model parameter to the Snapshots controller just like you would any other FX parameter you control using snapshots. Once assigned the Variax model changes when you change the snapshot.
  10. You need to update Helix Native manually; it is not included in the Helix product firmware/software. Download and install the current version of Helix Native, v3.61 (or the same version number as your Helix Floor device firmware).
  11. What computer and OS are you using? The POD HD500 USB drivers are system specific. Use the Downloads tab (top of this page) to identify the correct driver, if any. In the Hardware field select POD HD500. In the Software field select Drivers. Your current OS should be pre-selected in the OS field. If no drivers are available for your OS try changing the OS field to -Choose OS - to examine all available drivers. Perhaps you can get temporary access to one of the supported systems and perform a one time firmware/driver update.
  12. Sounds like you had the Factory rather than User setlist selected when you imported the presets. Repeat whatever you did to import the presets (e.g. the POD Go Edit Import Setlist command? Drag/Drop presets?) with both your saved Factory presets and your Marketplace presets, but this time make sure you have the right Setlist selected when importing them.
  13. You should find Hardware Compatibility settings in the Preferences window, in the bottom left corner of the main Helix Native window. Perhaps you need to maximize your window to see it?
  14. The V500 is compatible with the Variax Workbench product, not Workbench HD. According to the Downloads page Variax Workbench is supported on Mac OS up to and including Mountain Lion. So I expect it won’t run on your Ventura machine. But I’m not a Mac guy. Perhaps others can help you get it working.
  15. Check the Hardware Compatibility setting in Helix Native.
  16. Have you tried setting the Cab’s Hi Cut parameter to a lower level, e.g. around 6Khz?
  17. My M5 has recently developed the same problem. I too would be interested in hearing any update on this.
  18. Make sure the Input setting includes Variax (VDI input) not just Guitar (1/4” input).
  19. Which Pitch Shift model are you using? Most models include a Mix parameter which lets you set how much of each note (original/shifted) you want to hear. Hearing both is very common, especially for harmonies in guitar solos. Sounds like two players. But if you want to turn standard tuning into a bass guitar you set the Mix so that you only hear the shifted note (100%).
  20. Open a support ticket if you haven’t already done so. This sounds like a known problem and Line 6 will probably repair your device at no cost to you.
  21. Yes, it’s possible. Use the Command Center as described in the HX Stomp manual, pg 47. This allows you to select any Snapshot using a footswitch in Stomp mode.
  22. The parameter that has the most affect on the reverb trails is Decay. Try setting it to a higher value. Other parameters to experiment with are Predelay and Mix. For Delay FX experiment with Feedback and Mix.
  23. Only one so far? EVERY electronic device that has received past upgrades will eventually receive no further upgrades. You’re right that the POD Go will someday see its final upgrade. But that day is not today. The same is true of any brand new product you choose to buy instead.
  24. Is there something unique or specific that you want to do with the ‘jailbreak’ patch that you can’t do now? Pls provide details.
