Doesn't matter the setup, different effects, different outputs... Best way to deal with it, assign a compressor after the harmonizer to reduce the volume, and assign it on the same button with the harmonizer.

1) After 1 month the elixir will lose their brightness - metalic sound and will be excellent for 2 months. 2) I use string trees and reduce the problem a lot. 3) I use super glue (logtite) and glue it once and for all. Carefull it is tricky.

Comparing a JTV vs A variax? Well, I can say that the built and quality of my V700 is way better than any JTV US or Korean... Sounds maybe obsolete, but compare the acoustics, or the strato, or the custom gibson, or the jazz and semi models of the 700... Way better...Playability? Way better... Beauty? Way better... I really wish the next Variax will be made in Japan and has the same quality of the 700 had...

I think I would. After all the upgrades ( string trees, dimarzo pickups, and cosmetic changes) I woul use it. Is my only single coil guitar after all. (69S). I like it's design more than a stratocaster as a matter of fact, and except of the fretboard that is very small for me, the guitar is great.

Sent it back asap. This is abnormal. Don't waste your time. Since it is new, just sent it back for repair/replace.
