  1. ...maybe the soundguy heard of the XLR trouble with the Helix. So you can still use the 1/4 outs and DI boxes...
  2. This is like very nearly almost a christmas present to me ;) !!! My Variax is to be at the ready...
  3. ...Ã propos editor: what about the Workbench HD integration? ;)
  4. Yep, and this forum has a search function, too ;) Using this http://line6.com/support/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=search&fromMainBar=1 I found that (for example) http://line6.com/support/topic/24408-how-do-you-design-a-preset-from-scratch http://line6.com/support/topic/24445-difficulty-getting-usable-sounds http://line6.com/support/topic/19313-man-this-thing-sounds-bad-am-i-the-crazy-one Cheers!

    Helix vs Pod

Appreciate the work by Mitch Baker (the 'youtube engineer'). Trying to compare apples to oranges: Doesn't make sense to me, though having POD HD500 and Helix.

    No update...

...guess it's better you get yourself a support ticket: http://line6.com/support/tickets/add.html
  7. For all (new) Variax & Helix users: http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/JTV-Variax-Workbench-HD-using-Helix-VDI-as-interface/789597-23508

    USB

Greetings to Brazil! The next topic for the same problem? Your Helix seems to have a hardware problem, so open a support ticket here: http://line6.com/support/tickets/add.html
  9. For all (new) Variax & Helix users: http://line6.ideascale.com/a/dtd/JTV-Variax-Workbench-HD-using-Helix-VDI-as-interface/789597-23508
  10. With any browser it should be possible to download stuff here manually: http://line6.com/software I recommend to update the flash memory (=firmware) offline: You can download it seperately here (vers. 2.10): http://line6.com/software/readeula.html?rid=7263 and then use the (already installed) updater application to flash that (firmware) file (OFFLINE).
  11. I know - there were some threads dealing with that. But I would like to talk this up again in a more moderate way :P I am still owner of the 'old' dreamrig: JTV (Variax) --> POD HD (500) --> DT amp. POD HD is connected to computer via USB. This signal chain and workflow is really amazing! I can edit edit every part of the chain via PC and hear the 'final result' at once without regulary interrupting (annoying plugging / unplugging) the signal flow (no USB interface needed for editing Variax models). So, please  (guess what...) I know, it's on the Helix checking off list (as DI called it). To me, it'll be a wonderful christmas present - so this is on my 'Helix wish list' this year!
  12. Nope. Nothing hidden. The Link still works fine here - anyway: Go to Line6 software http://line6.com/software and search for Helix, flash memory and your OS. There you'll find all firmwares released so far - you need only Helix v2.10.0 (Released 11/22/16)
  13. Did you read THIS: If a user fails to read and follow the update instructions, Helix will cause their car radio to play only polka death metal every Thursday from 1-3pm PST Backing up is a MUST anyway...
  14. I always recommend to update the flash memory (=firmware) offline: You can download it seperately here (vers. 2.10) http://line6.com/software/readeula.html?rid=7263 and then use the updater application to flash that (firmware) file OFFLINE. More stable, less confusing, I guess...
  15. Finally found your and DI's comments here: http://line6.com/support/topic/23374-dt-series-amp-integration-and-helix-revisited/
  16. Guess you shuold post this here: http://line6.com/support/topic/16083-helix-bug-reports/
  17. Hello & welcome to the forum! There are already some threads about Helix & DT amps, read this for example: http://line6.com/support/topic/14267-helix-and-the-dt-amps/
  18. Maybe ears sometimes need a firmware update, too
  19. Title of the thread is misleading. The manuals (for Vers 2) are well done, I suppose. Has anyone counted the number of pages of this forum?! You can ask for help here (with any half of the brain) ;)
  20. Right click on the link - save as...
  21. ...and some like polka death metal in their cars...
  22. http://line6.com/support/topic/19444-latest-helix-editor-210/ ...Helix will now cause the car radio to only play polka death metal every Thursday from 1-3pm PST...
