  1. You can set the pedal to a pitch shifter and a volume block. Then you can assign a footswitch to these blocks. So when one block is activated the other is deactivated. Is that what you mean? ...problem is, if you switch to pitch shifter, the current volume value get lost
  2. OK a little different, your right! Maybe it's the FS6+FS12 thing? " If your Helix ends up in a bad state due to a failed firmware update, first perform a factory reset by holding footswitches 9+10 (Helix/LT) or encoders 5+6 (Rack) during boot up. Then reboot and enter update mode by holding down footswitches 6+12 (Helix/LT) or encoders 1+6 (Rack) Make sure to try this out on multiple computers in case of poor USB connections."(by Line6Will) or maybe it is a mac driver issue???

    Double Tracking

Sorry, I don't really know. :D Maybe because of the low/high cut It was just an example, a screenshot from a Fremen-Preset. It was the first one with double tracking I found in my list. (He also uses other delays for double tracking.)
  4. Same old story, I think ;) Sorry "justinderymusic", but this "2.8 update problem" topic has been discussed maaaaany times here in the forum. (You are a new user, so be forgiven. :) https://line6.com/support/topic/50685-cant-update-281/
  5. Then I would open a support ticket or maybe you can ask your dealer for a replacement device. You can clean the switch, but you have to open the Helix. I don't know, if you want to do that in the warranty period.
  6. Have you installed the latest firmware? I think line6 has tried to fix this problem with a bugfix in 2.8
  7. Do you have the problem only in looper mode? Maybe you have a general problem with this footswitch? https://line6.com/support/topic/47456-helix-floor-footswitch-failing/?tab=comments#comment-302121

    Input impedancia

as explained in the manuel you can use a lower value for a "softer" feel and a higher value for a "tighter" feel. Most time I leave it on auto too. You have to try for yourself what sounds best for you.

    Input impedancia

Sorry I missunderstood your question. Put it there, it sounds best for you.

    Double Tracking

I got the idea from the FREMEN preset pack. He uses it in some stereo metal presets. Sounds really good with headphones.
  12. Have you tried FS 6+12, reinstall HX Edit2.81(drivers are included) ? ...if nothing helps, maybe you have the option to start the update from annother computer " If your Helix ends up in a bad state due to a failed firmware update, first perform a factory reset by holding footswitches 9+10 (Helix/LT) or encoders 5+6 (Rack) during boot up. Then reboot and enter update mode by holding down footswitches 6+12 (Helix/LT) or encoders 1+6 (Rack) Make sure to try this out on multiple computers in case of poor USB connections."(by Line6Will) > post of "codamedia" & "datacommando" ... " Trow the Helix through the window??? " - That could also eliminate the update problem ;)
  13. seems so. I have tested it in a new preset (two pedals, one 0-100 and the other 100-0) works for me, even after saving

    Double Tracking

You can split the signal chain to two amps. Then use a delay (mix 100% / time 2-8ms) befor one amp. Or you can use the "double tack" modulation block. But double tracking works only in stereo (headphones, stereo pa). I would not use it on stage. In mono, you have frequency overlaps/ phase issues and it does not sound really good, more like a chorus. (...my opinion)
  15. You need to reverse the max and min settings for the wah position parameter in the Controller Assign screen. (menu button next to the save button)
  16. maintenez enfoncé FS 6 + 12 au démarrage réinstallez Helix 2.81 (pas seulement l Updater). (... malheureusement je ne parle pas français - traducteur Google)

    Input impedancia

You can set the the input impedance for your guitar on the input block. There is a setting "Guitat In - Z". Do you mean this?
  18. I'm also guessing a hardware issue and would open a support ticket. ...You can try a reset(don't forget the backup), but I don't think it will help. ( Holding footswitch 9+10 on boot restores presets, setlists, globals and IRs (restores factory bundle) THIS WILL OVERWRITE ALL USER PRESETS AND SETLISTS )
  19. The Helix has 2 separate paths, each you can split once (then you have 4 outputs in mono or stereo). Or you can send the signal from path1 into path2(then only 2 outputs). What do you mean by "House"? But if you use the left XLR for your In-Ear, you cannot use it for your "House" You have 2 options: 1.(needs more DSP) /Digital (L6-Link) / PATH1: guitar > amp+cab \ \ 1/4 (House???) PATH2: guitar > amp+cab > Doubler FX-- XLR(stereo) 2. / Digital(L6-Link) / PATH1+2: guitar > amp+cab \ \ Doubler FX -- XLR(stereo L+R)
  20. But if you set the feedback on the helix to 100%, it should go on endless. So maybe you have annother problem in your preset? ..."datacommando" has already explained everything well
  21. Reinstall HXEdit2.81, try holding FS6+12 at start, ... ...use the search button in this forum, this topic has been discussed many times ;)
  22. Your right, you can enter update mode manually by holding footswitches 6 + 12. Sorry, no one mentioned that in this topic. But because you wrote: "probably forgot to update Helix Edit / The Helix shows: Boot failure, Entered Update Mode" updating HXEdit was the obvious solution. There was no feedback from your side, so nobody could further narrow down the problem. ...so please do not complain ;) But good that it works now.
  23. You can not restore a single preset from a complete backup. You can only export(backup) and import a single preset.
