  1. strange, if the pedal and the cables are OK this should work :/
  2. Do you use the correct inputs for the stereo return? (return 1 + 2 or return 3 + 4). Have you test it in a new preset?
  3. Yes, you can use a mono send block and a stereo return block.
  4. Have you tried a reset of the global settings(FS 5+6) or a factory reset? (FS 9+10)
  5. Use the return 1 input for one mono signal and the return 2 for the other mono signal. Insert return block 2 after return block 1(mix 50%) and you have a mixed signal Or you can use a splitted path (return 1 block in path 1A and return 2 in path 1B, for example) Then you can add a mix block, stereo effects and the stereo send 1+2 block.
  6. Contact Cleaner can help, but then you have to open the Helix otherwise you will not get it in the micro switch(as codamedia has already sad)
  7. No. You can only try to start the Helix in Update mode (FS6+12). If you still get no connection and you have tried everything else (reinstall HX Edit/drivers, different port/cable/computers), then maybe it's a hardware problem.
  8. Have you tried to load your backup after a factory reset? ...I hope you did one
  9. The only thing you need is the HX Edit 2.82 installer (everything you need is included, ...drivers, updater, HX Edit program). Download and install(When you get to the options section of the install, leave them all checked). Then start the Line 6 Updater and connect your Helix. Login and you can download/install the firmware.
  10. here is a list with all reverbs and other effects, amps: https://dshowmusic.com/line-6-helix-effect-models/ https://dshowmusic.com/line-6-helix-amp-models/
  11. Try rightklick > open > There should appear a "open" in the popup window
  12. Have you tried to reset the global settings ( Holding footswitch 5+6 on boot )?
  13. If the update mode does not work and you can not reinstall the firmware, then the only way is to send it in for repair.
  14. Have you try to make a reset? (5+6 on boot restores Global parameters or fs 9+10 on boot restores presets, setlists, globals and IRs (restores factory bundle) "THIS WILL OVERWRITE ALL USER PRESETS AND SETLISTS) Can you enter update mode (fs6+12) and reinstall the firmware? Otherwise I think it's a hardware problem and you have to open a support ticket.

    Stereo IR

"blanks out"? You don't have enough DSP left? Then you have to delete other effect blocks :(
  16. Peter

    Stereo IR

Yes. Split the path into a right and left channel and run 2 IR blocks, pan then right and left.
  17. Turn off the Helix and close all line6/audio software. Reinstall HX Edit (2.82) - When you get to the options section of the install, leave them all checked. Start the Helix with FS6 and FS12 pressed (update mode) Start the LINE 6 Updater. (...don't use a USB-HUB, try annother USB-port if it still does not work use annother computer for the update)
  18. You can do that. But you can also tweak the level in the return block (or output block, when you use a seperate path) ...It's not really necessary to use a seperate path(unless you want to add own effects or EQ to your mp3 tracks). You can simply place the return block at the end of the chain.

    fixed

    Holding FS1+FS2+FS3+FS4+FS5+FS6+FS7+FS8+FS9+FS10+FS11+FS12
  21. If it does not work, you can download the firmware file(Flash Memory) from the line6 Homepage and then use the "choose file" option in the updater.
  22. Turn off the Helix and close all line6/audio software. Reinstall HX Edit (2.82) - When you get to the options section of the install, leave them all checked. Start the Helix with FS6 and FS12 pressed (update mode) Start the LINE 6 Updater.
  23. I 'm not sure this works: Right click the file and click open. This should bring a pop-up window with an options to open the file anyway
  24. If the update mode(FS6+12) does not help, close all line6/audio software and turn off / unplug the Helix. Then reinstall HX Edit 2.82 with all included drivers. Start the Helix and the Updater.
