But why should they put any resources into this? It says quite clearly in the instructions that you need to restore your global settings, if you don't do that then more fool you as my mam would say!
-
Why do you think a new one would be better?

I overcame this on the floor by setting a gain block to 0dB and assigning it to the same footswitch. You can then toggle the state of the switch by setting the bypass on the gain block. Admittedly you probably wouldn't want to burn two blocks on the HX Effects just for that.

I was just joking, Datacommando started it :-)

I was going with the St Patricks Day colour scheme :-)

It sounds like it needs recapping :-) Sorry couldn't resist!

I use a Boss wireless with my lounge amp simply because my wife doesn't like wires! I also made a wireless channel switcher to make her even happier. The receiver is tucked away in the back of the amp and doesn't cause any issues, I guess that's the equivalent of furniture.

I'm trying to think of a green amp and can only think of Matchless :-)

When playing live there is no need for DI's, you could typically go XLR straight from the Stomp to the desk/stage box. Doing that though leaves you vulnerable to the phantom power on the XLR issue if that is an issue on the Stomp? I'm not sure.

Good stuff, I'm glad you got it working.
-
Yes but they tend to grow back grey!

Is that louder/quieter knob the same as the solo/crunchy/clean knob that the old boys used before multi channel amps?
-
First off I'd try assigning CV out to the pedal, that way you can rock the pedal and figure out and take notes of the % ranges that apply to the 6 Voicelive switches. Once you have those numbers you can try assigning them to footswitches as the "lit" value, try the dim value as 0 or 100% to see what works best. It's possible that 100% would be the best default if you're trying to emulate a resistor network.
-
Good catch, I wouldn't have spotted that one.
-
There's also a Super Serial patch in the Templates setlist that will get you going.

Yes that's clock slip and it is exactly what I'd expect if you aren't syncing to the SPDiF signal. PS I work in telecoms, clocking and sync are bread and butter to us.
-
Are you sure about clock source to internal rd2rk? Whenever I've used SPDiF in the past (admittedly not with my Scarlett) it needed to be taking sync from the SPDiF
-
Can I repeat my earlier advice to always use a right angled lead, that way there's much less chance that it will get stood on.
-
I'm sure it will be loads better but some people don't get the new presents because they're naughty boys and don't keep their HX Edit updated :-)
-
I'm just bumping this back onto the front page. If everybody updates to this version then life will be so much easier for everybody when the next firmware drops.
-
Back in the day, I had a Roland guitar synth that sent out midi messages that were causing problems with other modules so I had to build a filter using a UART to strip them out. You guys have it so easy with your fancy codes :-)
-
Have you got an auto increment macro set up to post these Spikey? :-)
-
No but if they can get everyone using it now then there won't be the same carry on next time a new firmware is released.

Dirt pedals in FX loop sound wayyy off.. Just me?
CraigGT replied to emptyvesselband's topic in Helix
My Strymon Deco which is probably the least traditional dirt pedal you can get still sounds better with the guitar plugged straight into it so that's where it lives. No you can't turn it on or off with a snapshot, but that's the choice you make and it saves a loop for something else. -

Also the input pad and any blocks that cause a gain change before the loop send will affect the sound of your dirt pedals.
