Well, there is no metronome in POD Farm 2... Do you mean the metronome in your DAW?
-
Sorry, it’s was ruled heretical by the Modeling Pope back in 2014...

What sort of input are you using on your interface? Is it a high Z input? Basically, you’re using two different inputs, each with their own analog circuitry, and they’re affecting the way your Strat sounds in their own ways. If you want Native and the Stomp to sound identical, they need to have the same input/dry track. The easiest way to ensure that is using the dry track from the Stomp as the source for the track(s) in Native.
-
How are you getting the dry guitar track into Pro Tools?
-
Do a factory reset and the factory presets with show up. Hold down all three footswitches while powering up, and that will reset it.

Well, the effects are the same with a few caveats. The POD Go doesn’t have a few models the HX Effects has - the Cosmos Echo and Tone Sovereign (King of Tone) and to name a few. It also won’t be getting the new polyphonic effects coming with the 3.0 update. The POD Go delays have a max delay time of 2 seconds, whereas the HX Effects delays max out at 8 seconds. Really, if you’re genuinely not interested in amp models, the HX Effects is the way to go. It will give you a lot more flexibility, and it’s a lot more powerful as an effects-only platform.

Using the HX Stomp to Send Global Tempo to Boss 200 Series Devices

One thing I just noticed in your original post... MIDI Thru on the Stomp should be turned off. -
Using the HX Stomp to Send Global Tempo to Boss 200 Series Devices
phil_m replied to StewartDrake's topic in Helix
How do you have the two connected? The DD200 takes the mini TRS connection, right? What adapter are you using? -
I’m sure they aren’t going to give a date. I imagine it will probably be a few months, but I don’t know.

Line 6 M5 Right Footswitch LED Flashing/Blinking
phil_m replied to aflashman's topic in M5 / M9 / M13
Yes, that is the expected behavior. It flashes in time with the tempo that’s saved with the preset or tapped in. -
I think the Variax and the Helix Control both operate at the same voltage, which is probably why the Variax lit up. You should be fine. It sounds like that both jacks send power out over the same pins, probably for this very reason. You won’t damage either piece of hardware if you accidentally plug it into the wrong jack. The other pins are just data, so no harm, no foul.

Does the FBV3 work on the helix rack version ?
phil_m replied to ScrewShot's topic in FBV Controllers (MKI / MKII / 3)
No, the FBV3 isn’t compatible with the Helix Rack. Technically, you could use it as a MIDI controller for the Rack, but both would need to be hooked up to the same computer. The Helix Control provides far superior user experience.- 2 replies

If you have your monitors plugged into your Stomp when you’re recording, there shouldn’t be any difference compared to when you’re just playing through it. It sounds like you may have direct monitoring turned on in Reaper - the armed track would be processing audio through Reaper and then sending it back to the Stomp. If that’s the case, you’d want to turn that off. With ASIO devices you don’t need direct monitoring through the DAW, as you’re monitoring from the source itself.

You don’t need Path B for the 4CM, no. You just need the FX Loop block in the chain. Anything before the loop will be before your amp, and anything after the FX Loop will be in your amp’s effects loop.
-
Do you have the FX Loop block in your HX Effects preset?
-
Yes, Cosmos Echo was one of the effects that was left off because of its DSP usage. Storage has nothing to do with it.
-
An unbalanced or balanced cable will work.
-
You have to change the delay time to a note value instead of milliseconds. On the hardware, you just push down on the knob for the delay time. If you leave at a 1/4 note, the delay time will correspond one to one with the tempo you tap.
-
If you want to use the Stomp in front of your amp, your best bet is to use it for effects only. Create presets without amp and cab blocks and use the Stomp as a multi-fx only.
-
You need to download and install the latest version of HX Edit.

What kind of tests? The frequency response depends on the sampling rate. At 44.1kHz, the upper limit would be 22kHz. For most sources, there’s very little sonic information above 10kHz.

It’s not polyphonic... There are all sorts of posts on different forums complaining about it. Like all simple pitch shifters, it may hand power chords, but it will give you artifacts with more complex chords. Have you actually tried the POD Go pitch shift effects? They probably perform very similarly to the ones in the Zoom.
