  1. There are three blocks that are "wild cards". You need to change the type of one of those blocks. (what tutorial?)
  2. @MD1313 - The developers rarely, if at all, frequent the forums. _______________________________________________________ FYI... Interesting post from DI: http://line6.com/support/topic/28469-next-generation-pods/?p=222219
  3. Can Monkey see it? If so, you have green ticks for everything?
  4. You did not mention if it worked. If it did not, did you change the input in PF to Instrument? Have you tried headphones directly into the UX2?
  5. Maybe provide more details, your keyboard, what you are using it with, DAW...
  6. Nope. You can do it easily the Line6 Variax guitars.
  7. You need to use the Variax Workbench software.
  8. Since you are learning from scratch and depending on what your future recording plans are you may want to consider a DAW other than Audacity, which currently does not support ASIO out of the box (you can compile it to, check their wiki). Reaper is a full featured DAW with great documentation and an active forum. Also it is free to demo (virtually forever) unprincipled and well worth the $60 IMHO. It's a bit different with each DAW, but in a nutshell you would import your accompaniment track, then record you vocals to another track. When you are done you would render your tracks to an audio file (or bounce to another track). Most DAW's will require you to install an encoder if you want to render to mp3. I would recommend reading some of the tutorials and watching videos and post back if you get stuck or have new questions.
  9. I would recommend getting a mixer so you do not have to swap cables out. But for now you could use the Helix L/R outs into two of the U-Phoria's channels and make sure to select Line.
  10. Are you using POD Farm to configure the inputs? If not you need to open the Line6 Audio-MIDI control panel to configure.
  11. Yes it is possible. Are you starting from scratch, with no DAW experience?
  12. Do you have a stereo effect that is not coming out stereo? If so, you likely have a mono effect after the stereo effect which will mono sum everything.
  13. I'm guessing you are using a UX1 or UX2? Not too familiar with FL Studio and not sure what you mean by recording every single track playing. Do you mean you are hearing all the other tracks while recording guitar? If so, can't you mute the tracks you do not want to hear? Also, are you connecting your monitors/headphones directly to your UX?
  14. I would use a DAW to record your Helix and import your backing track into your DAW. Do this while you are recording the video. I'm not familiar with SF7, but I would assume there is a way to import audio after the fact.
  15. You could save set lists to different folders, one for the hardware and one for the plug-in.
